I'm putting a set together, but I need to know this:

Should I put the cards in Alphabetical order totally
or
Should I put the cards in Alphabetical order according to Runners, gear,
contacts, etc.

How do you people do it.

My system may be odd, but here it is anyway. I have my cards in 2
separate alphabetical sets, one is Challenges and Objectives, and the other
is everything else.

Here's what I've done:
I first put the cards by their type (runners, gear, contacts...) and then by
sub-type:
riggers, deckers...for runners
miscellaneous, armor, spells... for gear
specific effects for specials (for exemple cards which affect decking)
indoor, personnel...for challenges
and so on.
Then I file them inside the sub-type by deployment cost, begining by the
cheapest.

I just don't care about alphabetical order.

Thats a tough one... If I am creating a collectors set. One to go into
a binder and never see gaming play. I would seperate the cards into
their type... gear, runner, challenge, objective, etc... and put them
alphabeticaly by name. This way if you want to show off, they are in
easy read order and a specific card can be found easily.

If the collection is to be used for gaming purposes. I would still split
up the cards into their type... gear, runner, challege...etc. then
split the types into sub groups... decker, mage, drone, mercinary,
weapon, weapon accessory...etc. Then I wouldn't put them in
alphabetical order, but list them by depolment cost. challenges would
just be in alphabetical order and objectives would just be in order by
rep award.

This is what I do... it makes deck construction easier, mainly
because I go on a theme... so I look through my deckers and rockers and
all the cards I need are right there.

I go by following the card listings by Fasa, that way I've got all the
cards types together, Alphbetically by rarity.......

It depends if you are putting it together planning to sell or to play
later.
I myself put all cards of a certain type together. i.e. gear, runners,
specials....
Otherwise I would put them in alpha order.
