No, not that sort of challenge.

I'm putting together a commons-only deck, since my collection involves
my cards being put in a folder, which is not handy for deck-building. So
I'm putting together a deck using only my trades - common runners,
uncommon objectives (don't have any common objectives trades) etc etc.

So, how would you people go about building a deck like this? Mostly
commons, with a couple of uncommons thrown in - say, no more than 10
uncommons (not including objectives). Let me hear it, people!

I wouldn't think that it would be that hard at all to put together
pretty good common only deck. I think that you might want to just
make it a "bruiser" deck with mercs, samurai and the type. Without
using UCs and rares I think the decks and mages/shamans lose some of
the better cards. A quick glance at the spoiler list (just a quick
one mind you, so I might have over looked a lot) would lead me to
believe though that an all common rigger deck might work.

With Ajax (who has stamina himself) Jack Hammer (giving stamina to
drones) and Roadrash (piloting 2 and -1Y for vehicles) you can have a
pretty good selection of common riggers. Add in Redline, Stomper (one
of my favorites), Hatchetman and some other "meat" that should balance
out the runners. Gear is easy enough; Hunter drones and Roto-drones,
katanas and/or hand razors, yamaha rapiers and some pistols/firearms.
Add in a smattering of challenges and specials and you should have a
deck.

One of the problems with an all common deck is you lose Mr. Black and
Shopping Cart Lady, essenstials for any gear/weapon heavy, "bruiser"
type deck IMHO.

Hope that helps,
Forrest

Caric came by the other day and we decided to play a few games. He'd
forgotten his deck, so I decided to test an idea I had oc a
commons/uncommons deck. There's only about 6 uncommons in the deck
itself (not counting Objectives). I slapped it together in about 10
minutes from extras in my trade box, but the deck has shown itself to
be a pretty decent one.

I call it Common Occurences. :o)

OBJECTIVES
- Harlequin's Game
- Sucker Run
- Tiki Head Enigma
- Ragnarock (x3)

DECK PROPER (70 Cards)
Runners
- Ajax (x4)
- D-Day
- Glitz (x4)
- Gore Tusk
- Hatchetman
- Kromagnus (x4)
- Shasta (x4)
- Stomper

Gear
- Bolt of Power (x3)
- Crawler Patrol Drone
- Hunter Drone (x2)
- Katana (x4)

Contacts
- Bounty Hunter
- Corporate Secretary
- Elven Hitman

Locations
- The Iron Lung

Challenges
- Ambushed En Route
- Basilisk (x2)
- Electrified Fence (x2)
- Feeding Ghouls (x2)
- Gut Check
- Hellish Traffic
- Lone Star Patrol (x4)
- Maglocks (x4)
- Security Drone (x4)
- Security Guards (x4)
- Sentry Gun

Stingers
- Green Apple Quicksteps (x4)
- No Way Out (x2)

Specials
- Bar Fight
- Block Party (x2)
- Cover Up

This is a cash deck (Rockera w/ Fame and Ragnarock). Thus, you'll note
the presence of pumpable challenges, the security drone that can deal
DMG first for 3Y, Block Parties to stall opponents if need be, and the
Bounty Hunter (especially in my favorite combo with Maglocks or GAQS).
