Anyway, let me just say one more thing to everyone on the list:
We Admins tend to get noticed for our grumpiness because a lot of the time, the majority of posting we do is to ask people not to do things. We don't often turn around and give as much credit as we do criticism.
So I just wanted to briefly rectify this and say thankyou to ALL of you listmembers out there - you've all been policing yourselves really well lately. I've really noticed - every time a trade post accidentally hits the list, the person responsible actually apologises.

These messages were posted a long time ago on a mailing list far, far away. The copyright to their contents probably lies with the original authors of the individual messages, but since they were published in an electronic forum that anyone could subscribe to, and the logs were available to subscribers and most likely non-subscribers as well, it's felt that re-publishing them here is a kind of public service.
