Please don't send attachments to the list.

Here's a direct cut and paste from teh FAQ for those who may not have read it:

4.G Posting formats.
Please, please post only in straight, plain text. No html, no attachments,
nothing but plain simple easy to read text.

There are members who's mailers do not handle attachments. There are also
those who aren't prompted before a mailer auto-downloads the attachment. These
people may be pulling list mail at work or school and can get in serious
trouble for attachments being downloaded.

Practice common netiquette and simply post you have such a document available,
and that interested parties should contact you privately for a copy.

Thanx.

These messages were posted a long time ago on a mailing list far, far away. The copyright to their contents probably lies with the original authors of the individual messages, but since they were published in an electronic forum that anyone could subscribe to, and the logs were available to subscribers and most likely non-subscribers as well, it's felt that re-publishing them here is a kind of public service.
