Well, I'm back from Florida and on the plane, I thought of a few ideas to
create some more interactivity for the plaers during a game.

In some aspects of the game, the player can be considered a fixer or Mr.
J. The player organizes shadowrunners and gets the runners gear to
perform runs against objectivs while maintianing a budget.. Since , in
some aspects, the player can be considered an entity within the game, why
not create some alternate rules to reflect this and create some more
interaction between the players (those beyond challenges, specials,
stingers and intercepting shadowruns). So here goes...

During the Refresh Phase of each players turn:
a player may, lend, give or borrow any amount of nuyen from/to any other
player in the game.
the current player may turn a runner to move that runner into another
player's safehouse (the borrowing player does not gain control of the card
until their Refresh Phase). The runner is considered out of play
(fragged) while it is in transit.

During the End Phase of each players turn:
Return any "borrowed" runners controlled by the current player to their
owner's safehouse

These rules could be accompanied by specials/stingers that would affect
deals.

example:
Double Cross
Stinger
4=Y=
Return borrowed runner to owner's safehouse. If played during a
shadowrun, the alarm is triggered.

I have a few other ideas, but this sort of gets your imagination going.

Another idea I had was to have a player pick a profession before play
begins.

The Manager
player collects 5=Y= during the credstick Phase instead of 4
Player's max-hand size is reduced to 5

CEO
the player may rearrange their challenge stacks during their objective
phase. Cards may not be swapped between stacks.
player loses 5 reputation for every objective that an opponent completes

Fixer
draw 2 cards during the refresh phase and choose one to put into your
hand. Do this instead of drawing the normal 1 card.

What other player types can you guys think up?

What do you guys think? Dumb idea? Let me know...
