As promised, here is my first AEX (Amerindian Expansion) Deck. I call it
"Nothing Really Dies" because the whole point is renewal through death and
sacrifice. The deck is composed almost entirely of AEX cards, which
demonstrates just how powerful the AEX cards can be on their own. Certainly
I plan on adding non-AEX cards in the future, most notably I would add 4
Wanted and a Shady Manager and Sisko would be a boon. I will leave other
modifications to you. I will load this deck as a printable RTF file on my
Web site, http://home.earthlink.net/~teosabadia/Shadowrun/ so you can print
out the deck, cut out the cards, and play against it.

I would appreciate any feedback you might have, both on AEX and First
Run/Underworld cards that can be substituted.

Also, if you play against it, let me know how it went!

Lastly, if anyone can draw up a cool non-copyrighted logo that I could use
with the database and rtf files, let me know. I want to have one image on
each card to give a little graphical color to the cards. The logo should
say something like "SRTCG Net Expansion" or something more clever if you
can.

Strategy:
The Objectives are chosen to work well with the Challenges, which are
numerous to keep me from having to draw cards and to compensate for a lack
of Rockers, which I didn't want to use. (I used First Run cards only where
absolutely neccesary). The Amerindian Rocker is a possibility, but I found
the many challenges worked well, particularly because they works SO well
with these Objectives. I will probably take out 3 challenges and two other
cards and put in 4 Wanted.

The Runners are chosen so they can engage in Runner vs. Runner combat or be
sacrificed. Cobarde exists mostly to be sacrificed, or as a cheap Recon!
(Maybe you hadn't read Cobarde closely enough...? Yes, that's right, he runs
like the wind apparently!). Anyway, with a Blood Spirit on Hijo Del Fuego,
and With Dolor and Dust Runner, all I do is wait for my opponent to hit my
"Cornered" Challenge. Then I get to kill a runner with Dust Runner, put a
+1/+0 token on one of my runners, and put a +0/-1 token on one of my
opponent's runners. Very nice. Then I frag Cobarde at Aztechnology and use
Fallen Warrior Spirit to bring back his threat rating, which is a very
respectable spirit. If any of my Dust Runners or Ridge end up trashed, I use
Grandfather Spirit (I might add 2 more of these) to frag them, giving me a
skill (great as a stinger effect just when you need the skill) and allowing
me to use Fallen Warrior Spirit on these runners... As I said, 4 Wanted
would really go a long way!

Time Is Short goes a long way in making up for the lack of Rockers (if I get
one each four rounds, this is the same as having a Thrash out for no cost),
but I fear the card may be overpowered? Feedback appreciated on how any of
these cards could be too powerful... we can always create an anti-card in
the next expansion...

In some ways, this deck is a nice solid deck, even if the skills are really
lacking in some areas (demolitions, social, etc.) However, the ability to
intimidate the opponent is the huge factor, and the way it strengthens your
deck is a great 0-cost way of enhancing the runners. The low body of many
of the runners can be a detriment. Dust Runner and Ridge have to come out
pretty early... The challenges are really powerful... maybe too much? Play
it and let me know.

Thanks,

Teos.
