this is the link to sign up for my mailing list. hope the fine owners of this
list don't mind me posting this to their list. i just think another list will
do the game some justice. take for example: pepsi?? why buy coke or rc? cuz
people have different tastes.. on my list you can say what you have to say
without worrying if you will be taken of the list. don't agree with me (the
list owner) we can hash it out. unlike here if you have a problem with an
admin you have to keep your mouth shut.. im not afraid to go toe 2 toe as long
as it is game related....if it isn't i won't waste my time....they say here
this is for the game..sure but you can't reply to trade post or price your
cards.... on my list sky's the limit... well the choice is yours....hope to
see new faces on my list.. tanx for your time........btw from da shadows will
be mailed out by next friday so be on the lool out for it....

This is my only comment on this matter: Please keep slanderous comments to
yourself. This list has always had a free speech policy. You yourself are a
prime example - despite your rather violent abuse of myself and AdamJ due
to a couple of (admittedly ill-advised) remarks, you have not been 'taken
off the list', have you?

Yes, the list encourages politeness and a lack of flaming - but I'd like to
think that the list admins are all perfectly willing to listen to any
constructive criticisms that anyone has. That's not a license to flame, of
course, but I'm sure everyone recognises the difference. ;)

Oh how grown up. In case you didn't notice, but SRCard isn't *your*
kitchen. How about you take your nice little attitude, and stuff it. People
are on this list for discussion about SRTCG, not for having to read your
pointless emails complaining about how *unfairly* you feel you have been
treated. Do us a favour, leave SRCard, dont' continue to point it out. You
have your own list to keep you company, with no cry babies. (Shyeah, right.
I count one already there.)

Sit back and think about how some people have gone off flaming the admin of
this list. It's a wonder, truly, why they bother to put up with such crap.
Go run your little ego booster. I'm sure you'll be on the recieving end of
the *truly* undeserved flames soon enough.

look sweety this list has been dead for about a week okay.....i bring life to
the list every time i post....why?? cuz i speak the truth...people don't want
to be baby sat or told you can't post this or you can't post that....people
want to hear about the f*ckin game....something this list has been
lacking....loki i'll go public with this...i have no beef with you...you and i
hashed out our problems a while ago...and you run a tight ship here...and i
give you lots of credit...much love!!! but also at times the list can be
restrictive....i don't want to compete with this list...i just want there to
be an alternative...if people want to do thing the same way over and over
again fine...im a mover i like it hot!!! i make things happen...so sue
me.....join my list or don't...im not gonna twist your arm....loki i hope you
can explain to the list why having another list(i hope) would only benefit the
game....if not it's okay you done enough by letting me stick around...and i
don't plan on leaving anytime soon...

Hey, if you're starting your own list 's cool.

Just try to not cross the lines between a public service announcement and
personal snipes.

SRCard has been up and running for more than a year. Sure there's quiet times
and busy times as far as bandwidth goes. That's gonn ahappen with any mailing
list.

The DLOH's tell me time and time again how they appreciate SRCard, and what
we're doing for the game. They monitor the list and have regular contact with
Admin and members. So I'm sure if we were doing something wrong as far as the
list goes, I would've heard by now.

The list is run as a sister list to ShadowRN. Same admin style, a number of
the same members or admin. Guidelines and rules are set forth in the FAQ, so
there sould be now suprises.

I recognize we're mature entities involved here. We're online and able to sub
the a mailing lsit, so that shows a degree of intelligence. I'm open for
constructive criticism and feedback from SRCard members. Lord know I've
received my fair share as Fearless Leader. However, I will not stand for open
flaming of myself, the other admin or list members. I will not allow criticism
(non-constructive) for the sake of criticism itself to go unchecked. That's
part of my job description, and part of my nature as a human being.

If you're starting another list. Cool, I wish you well. Just don't make it a
personal grudge matter, or posts on it an arena to air dirty laundry.

Welcome to the Sixth World. Play nice.

Not to play the devil's advocate, but if there has always been a free
speech policy, that would be somewhat of a democratic process here too. I
for one have been told that this is not a democracy - that if I really
piss-off certain individuals I could be booted while also have been told
that my comments have at times been ill-construed and thus not proper. In
layman terms - "shut up Axl."

Of course, just my opinion while I still recover : 20 bands, 3 stages, 1
day *bleh*.

Huh? What does "free speech" have to do with democracy? They're not
at all related.

Heh - that's not an argument that there isn't free speech. The US has
"free speech", but you can still get kicked out for breaking the law
(they're more likely to throw you info a comfy jail or fry you, but
still). In every society, there are rules. There are also consequences
for breaking those rules. Do you think that the SRCard rules are too
strict? Do you think that being kicked off the list is an overly cruel
punishment?
