It may be a stupid idea, but I had this idea for a Stinger or Special or
maybe even a challenge card that would be really quite ammusing. Firstly
I have noted that many cards really seem to "pay out" on the life styles
of the general public... i.e. hellish traffic, Rough Night.

The card that I have in mind is would be called THE TAXI DRIVER. I t
would go somewhere along the lines of your running team would get in the
cab and thus a die would be rolled. on a 1-2 the cab driver would get
you lost and you would end up failing the run. On a 3-4 you would skip
one objective and on a 5-6 you would get ripped off a certain number of
nuyen.
Well something along those lines. I would be open to suggestions on this
topic as I am a relative new comer to shadowrunning.

How about:

Name: Taxi!
Type: Special (Stinger)
Cost: 2Y
Text: Play after a street challenge, or one that requires Piloting.
Roll d6: 1-2 You're lost, the team returns to the safehouse and the
run is over (this counts as "pulling out" of the run). 3-4 Shortcut,
trash the challenge. 5-6 Ripped off, pay 1Y for each runner present.
If the amount is not paid the alarm is triggered (if it hasn't been
already) and the challenge must be faced as usual.
Flavor: It's not just a ride, it's an adventure.

Name: Cabbie
Type: Runner (Cab Driver)
Cost: 4Y
Skills: Piloting, Street
Threat: 2/4 (A1) [What's a cabbie without a ride ;-) ]
Text: Can only run on outdoor objectives. After a street challenge,
or one that requires piloting is revealed pay 2Y and roll d6 (even if
the alarm has been triggered). 1 trash challenge. 2-3 trash challenge
but Cabbie pulls out of the run and returns to the safehouse. 4 Lost,
run is over, team pulls out and returns to the safehouse. 5+ alarm is
triggered and face challenge as usual.

As usual this is off the top of my head so i'm sure it needs some
cleaning up.
