Maybe this is from lack of playing the game overall, but I was always under
the assumption that a Special was something good for the owner's players
while a Stinger was something bad against the opponent's players. That is,
until the Underworld came out and seemed to have jumbled that up a bit.
Maybe I should play the game *shrug*.

My knee jerk reaction would be if the character is questionable, then it
should still be allowed. It would bring flavor (flavour for those outside
the U.S.) to the whole genre - "I thought Redline was a woman?" "Nahh, he
dated my sister..." "But I thought your sister was..." "Shut up
before
you take a walk on the bottom of the ocean."
