Armor-

Someone asked me what the Max Armor you could have on someone was.
My group paused briefly then began to chatter. It got louder and louder
until, eventually, somebody spilled a drink and I think I saw a bag of
peanuts fly through the air and now the ferret's injured.

So here's what we can document-

The rulebook says that you can have multiple types of Armor, however the
highest one counts <I don't think anyone will argue that you can take the
lower value by choice, but if you want to, make another thread>.

So I have an untapped Stomper 6/7(A1) with a Hog (+1/+0 A+1) and dermal
armor (+0/+2 A+1) and 2 fullbody armors (A+2 each) and an Armor Jacket(A+1)
and with a Bulldog Van on a Thrash (A+1)

Now one school of thought is that Stomper is now 6/9(A6)
With these armors working-
Natural (A1)
Dermal (A+1) "Works with other armor"
FullBodyArmor (A+2) Rulebook-"only 1 armor may be worn at a time"
Bulldog Van (A+1)
Hog (A+1)
This is mine. I don't see any other way for it to be.
The Lined Coat works with Armor jacket, but not other armor.
The bulldog van adds armor, but is not Gear (Armor) so it can add it to the
highest armor rating.

What is the highest armor achievable?
I think it's A8 by a natural A2 troll or a burned out mage with Armor (spell).

Let me know what you think!

Torgo (A2) or Uncle Joe with an Armor Spell (+A2), with:
- Dermal Armor (+A1)
- Heavy Armor Full (+A2)
- Harley Scorpion (+A1)

for an untrashable (A6)!

I've always played that the Harley and the Bulldog were *not*
compatible, since a Runner can only use one vehicle at a time. In this
instance, the Runner is benefiting but not equipped with the Bulldog,
but it still doesn't work for me -- you can't exactly sit on your Harley
inside the Van. Of course, the Bulldog Van is a little paradoxical as a
card..

About the only other source of armor left out so far is Pappy, but
neither Runner here is a Dwarf. That and net.cards...

Okay.. Now that I have more commons and uncommons then my entire
"collection" deck. I've decided to cut way back on the purchasing of
boosters. Unfortunatly I'm still short 32 rares... Here is what I have.
Let me know if I have anything you want and you have anything I need. As
for references I've done a lot of trading with mamoulian and 1
trade/purchase from Loki. As for purchases I'm more then willing to pay 10
dollars for any of the promo cards from the magazines. Seems that the
thriving metropolis of Boise Id. Doesn't have many places that carry them
and just buying or trading for them will be a lot easier...

How About-
Torgo (A2) or Uncle Joe with an Armor Spell (+A2), with:
- Dermal Armor x 2 (+A2)
- Heavy Armor Full (+A2)
- Harley Scorpion (+A1)

(A7)!

I was wondering if anyone else had a problem with multiple vehicle armor? I
can accept that, but in the interest of less volume, I don't know if we
need to add more errata.....

Dermal plating is (thankfully) limited to just one per Runner. Even
(A4) can make a buff-tough Runner nearly indestructible against the
majority of Challenges out there.

Well, it is stated in the RBT that "each Runner may only take one
Vehicle on the shadowrun", os it's not *too* worrisome. However, I have
problems with the Bulldog applying armor toward Runners who aren't
present with it (although it's rare that it'd be needed at the safehouse
while on a shadowrun).

So I've been using a house-rule which has it applying to all present,
unturned Runners, and, in a further modification, the Van returns the
exact same Runners that left the shadowrun to the "new" one.
