Thank God for small miracles.

Brak, you talked about your Mother May I deck. I thought that was a real
good start to an actual Shadowrun conversation from your side. I was
really looking forward to seeing it posted, so I could consider trying it
in my group. However, I haven't seen it yet. I'm sure you haven't had
time to post it, but people are curious:

What's this "Mother May I" deck that will stop the Big Boys decks? I think
it would be great to see it on this list. You could even add your
commentary to it, and we could start up another Shadowrun conversation on
this list. We could ask questions about it, and you could let us know how
you had intended the deck to be played.

Think about it, ok?

Jon,
I played against this at GenCon and it is all he says it is. It is designed
to let him control the game and it works...not 100% but it does work

I'm sure it is. I definitely believe it, especially since I believe you
and another person testified to its toughness. I just want to see it
because I really, REALLY want to use it. And it gets away from negativity
comments and offers something constructive.

While Zach's post was indeed non-harmful, somewhat on-topic, and rather
funny, the posting guidelines have been in place since the day the list
opened -- yes, even before you got here Gabe. The moment a mailing list
starts slacking on its guidelines, everyone feels they can abuse them, and
then all hell breaks lose. Warning people who post attachments or otherwise
violate the posting guidelines is a preventative measure.

You can run your own little list as much like a virtual anarchy as you
like, and I really don't give a rip. But on here, if you're "back and have
a lot to say", you play by this lists rules, because like it or not, you're
not the most important person in the world, and SRCard will move on with or
without you.

Having a simular style of lockdown deck, it looks like a very effective
decker deck. Due to the lack of direct runner conflict (minor flaw in
the game IMO) I can see how this deck kicks butt. I would think that it
would have problems against decks that attempt runner vs. runner combat
or that imploy direct damage cards ... Ie shurikin/drive-bys/ or Z-zone.
But those are the breaks (how I know them well).

once i lock a deck down i don't worry about wanted and direct
combat..and even if they do i make them pay with bad rep..sure kill
static for 1 rep but you're gonna lose 9 rep...and with the ice queen's
and sticky fingers..my opponent doesn't usually have the means of
bringing out their big guns..remember playing ccg's is 60% luck and 40%
skill...i truly believe that even if you get a bad draw a skilled and
quick thinking player can get out of a real sticky situation.
