this one is about the Yamaha Rapier and other cards that say "armor is not
cumulative with other armor."

say the yamaha rapier is on redline. Say, I play Ancients. Since the
rapier isn't cumulative with other armor can you choose to not use the
rapier's armor and use the ancient's instead?

or does armor refer to gear (armor) cards?

You can use all armor but the Rapierīs in this case, but IMHO if you use
the Rapier, you canīt choose to use other armor. ---Felix
