Hello All,
I'm another newbie to this list, but not to Shadowrun. I've got a =
question 'bout Viper:

What the heck does this mean?
Elf Runner
3¥: Street until end of turn?
What is "Street until end of turn?" I looked through the mountain of =
posts I've received over the few day since I've joined, but couldn't =
find an answer.

I did find one heckuva hot topic in GAQS though. My own two cents is, =
GAQS hasn't presented itself a problem yet. When it does, my opponent =
who uses it will feel the full weight of my undivided attention (well, =
that and my best runner with a Ranger Arms sniper rifle who will try and =
intercept his/her runners at every possibility) and probably not like =
the attention he/she receives ;). Another possible response to someone =
who loves to use GAQS, is to load my own deck with about ten or so GAQS =
and go to town on 'em!! Well, that might be a little petty. In any =
case, I think GAQS is one of many stingers which accurately portrays the =
"uncertainty" and sudden suprise's of life in the shadows.
Thanks in advance, and BTW, great game Mikes!!!

Streetwise.
For 3nuY Viper has the skill Streetwise untill the end of the turn.

Hear hear!
One of the beauties of the SRCG is that a lot of unexpected things
can happen, and nothing is certain.
This as an exact opposite to another CTCG we are all familiar with....

And if you're playing an "official/tournament/reasonable" deck it would also
be illegal. ;-)
Under those rules, you can only have four of any single card in your deck.

As for Viper's "Street" ability, try reading "Street" as
"Streetwise"
Make more sense that way?
Streetwise was too long to fit, so they shortened it.

Since SRCard doesn't yet rank it's own Bull-bot, I'll take the

From the FASA FAQ 2.0, to be posted on their webpage soon:

~~~~~~~~~~
Q. Scarecrow's special ability reads, "Trash one of Scarecrow's Spells
to give him Street until end of turn". What is Street?
A. A typo. It should say Streetwise, not Street. Viper has the same
typo.
Just so you know, you're limitted to one interception per objective
per game.
Also, this comes from our Game Q&A, to be posted to our list's
homepage sometime in the near future:
~~~~~~~~~~
Q. Can Indirect Fire or the Sniper's Roost be used when intercepting
an opponents shadowrun?

A. Indirect Fire can only be used to assist a shadowrun and
intercepting another team is not considered shadowrun. Cool idea
though. Maybe it'll be a card down the road...
~~~~~~~~~~
For now, the Game Q&A is found at:
www.oakland.edu/~ddmccoll/sr/temp/faq.htm
I'm just letting you know as both issues have come up as topics on the
list. ;o)
<<<<Another possible response to someone who loves to use GAQS, is to
Actually, you're probably just joking, but you're limitted to only
four of any one non-unique card in your deck. Rulebook thingy (pg. 11).
<<<< Well, that might be a little petty. In any case, I think GAQS is
one of many stingers which accurately portrays the "uncertainty" and
sudden suprise's of life in the shadows.>>>>
Exactly.
Oops! I was coming off a thirteen hour shift and wasn't thinking too =
clearly about the 4 card rule, but thanks for reminding me. I was aware =
of it, just not consciously aware of it. I don't play with the card =
much, but I'm sure that I can find ways of dealing with it was my point, =
convoluted as that point may have been.
