Hey now! I've been using the handle of Loki since years before
Shadowrun even hit the shelves. Harks back to my RPG teeth-cutting
days with **&*. :o)

Actually, I thought the cliche shadow names included varied
combinations of things like: wing, stalker, black, steel, blood, dark,
shade, night, silver, chrome, hunter, blade, razor, etc.

Sounds like me. I had been using the handle and character name Argent since about day
three of
Shadowrun hitting the shelves, so when the character started showing up in the novels and
as a
Shadowtalk contributer, my group was all abuzz....(grin)

They do. But then, there are also a few "mythologically based" names
that are cliche (not just in SR either).

Zeus, Athena, Loki, Fenris, etc.
