Unfortunately, I spoke with my local game store owner the other day, and
an official FASA bulletin had it pegged as an August release. (The
latest Scrye had it listed as July; I haven't checked FASA's website
yet.)

Must .. get .. new .. cards .. and this is ticking me off!

Corp Wars is in print, so it should be ready for sale very soon, but
I´ve read they´re possibly waiting for GenCon (September, if I recall
correctly). No cards have yet been hinted at - I´d love to see Red
Samurai.

Starts August 6th, actually. And I'm *hoping* it debuts there --
*waaaahh* I want my Corp War! :)

Well from what I heard from the FASA booth at the Chicago Comicon, that
isn't going to happen. They were hoping to release it then, but it
looks like it won't be possible. THen again from what they told me
about the selling of Earthdawn (they sound like they were trying to sell
it but were far from making a deal) and the newest rumors on the Earthdawn
mailing list, they may be just hedging their bets...

I'ld be happy for Corp War to debut at Gen Con, but I'm not holding my
breath.

Well all the FASA people I talked to (and had my brother talk to ;) told
me that FASA had indeed dropped the EarthDawn line. However, that they
were looking to see if they could sell it to another company. When
I asked them how close they were to selling it, and how long would we
have to wait for an official anouncement, I was told that "They would
not know for some time" and that an official announcement would be made
when the time came... if it came.

On the EarthDawn mailing list, the person who first announced that it
was for sale said that the same friends in the gaming industry told
him that EarthDawn was sold this week. If this is true (and I hope
it is), then they had to have been close to a deal last weekend.

Originally, I hoped that this downplaying of information meant that
Corp War might still make it to Gen Con. However, I meet Gabe at
the Comicon and I now his sources are good, so I guess it has not even
gone to the printers yet. I know there are some uncut sheets lying
around somewhere, but those are probably just the play testing versions.
