Seeing how FASA will not be producing anymore Shadowrun cards, I don't feel
to bad posting this deck. If someone feels it is ethically wrong, let me
know. I made this deck by typing in the entire corpwar set (I got it from
someone's web site just before it was finished) into a database (that Teos
Abadia created) that allowed me to print it out and use it with my other
cards.

The following is a deck I built using some of the Corpwar cards. I want some
feedback so I am hoping that at least a couple of people on the list have
seen the full text of these cards. I don't remember where I got the full
text from. (Anyone know?)

Also after the list I have my comments on Star Wars. If you reply to this
part of the email, don't send it to the list. It would just be a waste of
the admin's time. Just send it to me directly.

Corpwar Deck (65/6)

The main idea behind this deck is to have a well balanced attack deck that
can do something else than blow stuff up. I tried to make it as small as
possible yet remain balanced. Corpwar cards will have (CW) next to them.

Objectives - 6
Delta Clinic x2 (CW)

I really want to try out this deck. But I live in Western Mass and very few
folks play around here. Maybe next time I am in Boston I can look some folks
from the list (I think there are a couple people living there).

OT - I went and saw Star Wars PM. It was just about what I expected. Better
than Jedi, but not nearly as good as Empire. Maul didn't have enough lines
to be scary. He didn't have much of a presence. I really disliked the Jar
Jar character also. But from a story point of view the next in the series
should be incredible especially now that the actors and actresses will be a
little more comfortable with Lucas. The special effects were definitely
spectaclar. Enough on that I won't bother you again!
Careful with that, you might hurt someone!

<snip deck and Star Wars comments>

Sorry, I wasn't a playtester for Corp War, so I can't comment on the deck.
That said, I don't have a problem with posting decks which use CW cards,
but I think any discussion of them should be taken to private email to
avoid spoilers/copyright infringement. Just because FASA decided not to
print the cards at this time doesn't mean they'll never print the cards.
Granted, it's unlikely and gets more so each day, but it could happen.
Plus, as far as I know, the specific content of the cards is still
protected by whatever non-disclosure agreements playtesters have to sign
before they're allowed to see the cards.

Also, while I personally don't have a problem with posting CW decks, you
might want to consider the ramifications of doing so. Even simply listing
the card titles is going to generate interest and demand for this web site
that supposedly has the full text of the cards. What do you think will
happen if this information becomes widespread? First of all, interest in
the real CW cards might go down after everyone knows what the cards are and
plays with them via proxies. Second, FASA might decide to prosecute the
distributors of the information, NDA or not, because of the revenue they
might have generated if and when they finally decided the time was right to
release CW.

Just some thoughts off the top of my head.

Look on the bright side, Brak. It wasn't you that did it.....

Not to mention, do you really think that Fasa folks don't subscribe to the
list? I can't imagine that they don't (or didn't, when there was actually
something to be concerned about....)

This is correct. Any material the playtsters see is NOT to be shared. this
includes material that was not published for whaterver reason. Permission
is need to share that information with others.

I suggest that if anoyone on the list knows the location of this site,
wmail the maintainer to take it OFF LINE, and ASAP.

Well I definitely did not expect that much discussion! As not to step on any
toes, I will be mindful of posting anything about Corpwar again until
someone gets word from FASA about the legal issue. I don't know who to
contact for that purpose, but I am sure someone on this list knows. Anyway I
got the spoiler list for the cards while it was being playtested, I have
just sat on it until now, when I was relatively sure no one would care. I
guess I am going to have to wait a little longer. My person feeling is that
FASA is going to do nothing more with the SRTCG, and I love the game, so I
intend to keep playing (even with cards that are not necessarily legal).

My next contribution to the list hopefully generate more positive
discussion. I have created a deck using the Amerindian Net Expansion set (I
contirbuted some cards to it so I feel okay in posting stuff). I have used
this deck before and it quite fun.

I hope everybody is having a great day!
