Reading the thread about the Cortex bomb reminds me
of a few questions I have:

* When deckers assist *in the matrix*, do they count towards
the total runners you can send on a run?
Also, I'm not sure how the program 'Sleaze' works.
The team fails to sleaze an "Elite Security Mage", the alarm
gets triggered. The decker can reset the alarm, but has to
fight the "Elite Security Mage"? Or what about "Hit and Run"?
The decker resets the alarm, but takes 2 damage? What if
the decker is assisting through the Matrix? How does the decker
fight? Or 'return to the safehouse' which happens when you
fail to sleaze 'Hit and Run'?

* If a runner has a weapon that can be used for Indirect Fire,
the runner has to turn to use it? And they don't count towards
the team max? Is that runner available only for that one revealed
Challenge?

thnx,
Sorrow

Yes. You could send, say, Red Widow and her three sisters, and have
them covered by Ice Queen and Dodger in the Matrix - but that's all, no
one else may join.

The wording on Sleaze is a bit unclear; basically, it just resets the
alarm. The Runner team still has to face down the Challenge.

AFAIA, the Elite Security Mage can't dismiss a Decker from the Matrix,
since the Decker never leaves the safehouse. Oh, wait, you didn't ask
that... :)

From the RBT, p. 38: "Turn the Runner holding the weapon to add that
weapon's Attack Value to the cumulative Attack Value of the
shadowrunning team .... " Runners using Indirect Fire *do* count toward
the max. (If they didn't, the Remington 750 would, sigh, be a pretty
cool toy after all.) The Indirect Fire bonus stays active through the
shadowrun, unless noted on the weapon (the Ranger Arms, for instance,
only deals damage once a turn). Or, of course, if the gun (or Runner)
gets trashed midway through.
