A runner 5/6 begin a run with 5 damages (but with stamina) and the =

gear Doc Wagon (platinum).
=

Doc Wagon (Platinum)
Type: Gear
Description: Gear/Misc.
Notes: 5¥. If user dies, trash Doc Wagon (Platinum) and return Run=
ner =

to your Safehouse.User takes only 1 damage and keeps Gear.
=

During the run, the runner take 3 damages .Then he must be trashed b=
ut =

if I trash the Doc Wagon does it means that:
=

1- The runner keep his 5 damages he has before the run, then don't =

take the 3 damages of the run but take an additionnal damage from Do=
c =

Wagon (and then is trashed !).
=

2- The damages are all removed then the runner return with only one =

damage.
=

I think it's the second (the runner is mine!) but my opponent said =

it's the first solution.
=

Another but more general question:
=

Can a player play a non-stinger card during an opponent turn?
If he can, which card?
=

Thanks.

I would tend to agree with you. After all you are paying a premium
for the service and Doc Wagon should patch you up no matter where you
got the damage from. However, as we've seen, the RPG doesn't always
carry over to the TCG, and I've been wrong before :-)

Not usually, and I can't think of any off hand. You can use card
abilities, but I don't believe you can bring a new card into play.
The one that come closest is the Walther Palm Pistol, which is gear
that can be played as a stinger...

I'd go with number two. Once a Runner carrying DWP sustains enough
damage to kill him (whether cumulative, or from a single source) he
goes back to the safe house with all damage counters removed, save one.

I don't believe so. That's what diferentiates a Stinger and a Special.
Special abilities and card effects may be activitated during an
opponents turn. As for deploying a card from your hand during their
turn it's pretty much limitted to Stingers.

Stamina really doesn't have much bearing here, but I get the picture.

This is an interesting situation. The character was wounded before.
The way the card reads, it implies that the Runner takes only one
damage *from this wound* - and in this case, the one damage is enough
to geek him again. I would have to agree with this as the solution.

Seeing as its a popular card in my parts, I wouldn't be surprised to
learn I'm a distinct minority.

No, or at least not without card errata. A lot of the Specials sound
like they could work as Stingers (especially Rush Job and Knock-Knock
-- especially KK) but I can understand the reasons to limit them. Card
"effects" can of course be played during an opponent's turn.
