Here's an interesting question that was presented to me...

Doomsday Device has seven time tokens on it. It's about to make some
players really unhappy by killing their runners. Someone plays a Cover Up
on D.D. D.D. goes face-down for a turn. When it comes back up, does it
have all of it's time tokens on it, or are they removed? The general
consensus is that the time tokens are still there and BOOM! Runners die.
Anyone feel otherwise?

I would say the time tokens stay on it. Afterall, you don't trash the
Challenges on an Objective when Cover Up is played on it.

Allowing Cover Up to nullify the Device that way would totally weaken the card. Of
course, I can't imagine an Objective sitting around for eight turns anyways, unless maybe
its the first Challenge in the game.

When its got Cover Up on it, at least it won't have any new Time tokens added. There's a
small consolation.

Hmm: Connive a way to get all of your Runners into Lone Star Lock-Up, and *then* detonate
the device. Maybe, maybe, maybe...

This is my opinion. Correct me if I'm wrong....

I feel that the tokens are gone when u unreveal DD. The rules don't exactly
describe movement between zones of play (especially of tokens), but I don't
think u can have time tokens on an unrevealed objective....

Hmmm.... ya think runners in a Coffin Hotel would be immune from getting hit by the
Doomsday Device? Probably not, the card simply says "Each player must trash D6
runners".

Nope - the Runners are still in play. You could use an Abducted! on the
turn *before* the Bomb goes bang, since the Runner is returned safely to
play after the bomb explodes during the Objective phase. Mugsy might
survive, sort of. Not much else you can do except use Loaded Dice :)
