Okay these are probably REALLY dumb questions but here goes:

1. when damage is dealt to a challenge, does it stay there if the
runners fail to defeat it, or is it automatically removed, and if so
when? (i.e. next turn, after combat, etc.)

2. Can unrevealed challenges change objectives at all?

3. Can you discard cards from your hand at will?

4. Is there any limit to the amount of nuyen you can earn from fame in
one turn?

Thanks in advance for taking the time to answer my undoubtedly
rediculous questions.

Ryan

No. Damages and pumps are all reset after the challenge have been faced.

No. Once put on and objective, the only way to remove it is when someone
faces it.

Only at your End Phase, the one after the Shadowrun Phase. You can discard
any number of cards and your hand may not hold more than 7 cards.

Well, 8 nuyens for a total of 12 per turn. For that, you must have the only
two runners with Fame (Thrash & Glitz), each 4 times on the table. Other
than that, there is no limitations. Just remember that if you decide to
complete your hand instead of taking cash, you also don't receive your
additionnal nuyen from Fame.

IMO, there are no dumb questions if you really don't know.
How else does one learn except to ask.

>1. when damage is dealt to a challenge, does it stay there if the
>runners fail to defeat it, or is it automatically removed,

No. Damage (from any source) remains until healed.

>and if so when? (i.e. next turn, after combat, etc.)

During your refresh phase, you may turn any damaged runner to
heal. Doing so removes all damage counters on that runner.

>2. Can unrevealed challenges change objectives at all?

No. Once played on an objective, the challenge remains until
sleazed, defeated or trashed.

>3. Can you discard cards from your hand at will?

No. The only time you may 'discard' is during your discard phase
where you can discard as many or as few cards as you wish.
There are card effect that cause you to discard, however, but
that is hardly 'at will'.

>4. Is there any limit to the amount of nuyen you can earn from fame in
>one turn?

No, not really. However, you only earn +1 nuyen for every point of
fame on the runners you control. If you have 30 rockers (impossible
at this time) controlled, each with Fame, you can earn 34 nuyen
during your credstick phase. 30 from the Fame and 4 you normally
pull in.

Not at all.

Ooops, I misread the question. Disregard my answer to this...

Damage delt to challenges is always removed at the end of combat in
which the challenge was not defeated. Challenges always have their full
threat rating when revieled.

>2. Can unrevealed challenges change objectives at all?

No. Challenges cannot be switched between objectives. Once played they
stay until defeated or trashed.

>3. Can you discard cards from your hand at will?

Only during your end phase, You may discard as many cards as you like.

>4. Is there any limit to the amount of nuyen you can earn from fame
>in one turn?

No limit. If you had 4 thrashes, glitzs, and adam bombs you could pull
in 16 extra nuyen at the begining of each turn.

Don't forget about Adam Bomb (Fame 2), and Ripper and Kromagnus' Fame like
abilities.
