Here's the response I got from Skuzzy on the rumors posted where
someone's friend of a friend called and supposedly got questionable
answers from FASA.

Hope it helps clear up a few things.

I was kinda shocked at some of the answers I 'supposedly' said. =)
Most of these are true but whoever posted these either misunderstood
my responses OR got some bad info from someone else. It's important
for everyone to understand that some of the things I mention to people
about changes aren't wrote in stone (They will be next week tho!).
I'll give the correct info for each below. =)

Ok, here's the scoop!...Invisiblilty WAS going to be changed so that a
D6 roll of 3+ would be required BUT I have decided that It's not going
to change afterall. Media chick IS going to be errat'd BUT I haven't
decided if she is going to be limited to 1 or 3 uses a turn (I'm
leaning on 1 use per shadowrun).

This is 100% true! ;^)

WOW! I would've had to of been stoned to give that reply! LOL!
Seriously tho, I dont remember ever saying that. The rules governing
who gets to play a card 1st are staying in the rulebook. The Elite
security mage can use it's ability as soon as it's revealed BUT if the
shadowrunning player wants to use a card or ability then they get to
do so first because It's their turn and when there's a dispute like
this then the person who's turn it is gets to play their card 1st.

ALL Gear cards are deployed on a runner or another gear card
(accessories, etc). As far as SKWAAARK! goes, well he can only use
cyberware cards. Can You really see Skwaaark! giving a rat's ass about
a handfull of delicate little skillsofts? Think about it. hehehe.
THats why he has that limitation. He's just to mindless to care about
anything other than whats installed in him.

I hope all this helps everyone out! I hope you guys are prepared for
the Underworld expansion. It's gonna be out soon and all those deck
strategies are gonna have to be rethought out. Ther's quite a lot of
cards in this expansion that were custom made for certain deck
strategies but I'm sure you guys will be alllll over those! Hehehehe.
See ya in the Shadows chummers! Ciao!

GROWF. This sort of flip-flopping isn't good for the game.

Damn. Hate speaking my mind like that about a DLOH, but it's true.

Is the flipflopping you are referring to the change in Media Chick or
the change-then-non-change in Invisibility? If the latter, I disagree.
It seems to me that the only mistake there was letting us know that he
was considering a change to Invisibility before the change was made.
Since the card isn't changing there's no flip-flop! If the possibility
of a change to Invisibility hadn't leaked out we would never have known
the difference.

If you were referring to Media Chick, I think it needs a change. The
game has few holes, but that card is one of them IMHO.

BTW, I liked the "GROWF"! :¬)
