Here's the word from the DLOH's on LotP and how it affects existing
Ganger Leaders (ala Torgo).

IMHO, I think FASA made a bad decision here. Under this ruling, it could
be implied that Scatter could not have the Rat totem card played on him.
There is still one answer that was left unanswered(maybe it was never
asked), but is torgo affected by cards like the Ganger Leader and Ganger
HQ's? What about gang violence and the ganger objectives?

If the ganger leader is able to be deployed while a LotP is in play, does
it add to the +X/+X? I would say no, because it says ganger runner, not
just ganger, right?

I think the issue with LotP is that it specfically refers to Ganger
Leader. Cards like the Gang Leader contact, Ganger HQ's and Objectives
refer generically to Gangers. It the whole all A's are B's but not all
B's are A's thing again.

Unless I'm mistaken, the contact is named Gang Leader and not Ganger
Leader, so by semantics he doesn't even come into the picture. Cheesy,
amybe but it's an out IMHO. :o)

That's how I would go with it. That and the fact I believe the name is
Gang Leader and not Ganger... <shrug>
