Let's see, you've got...

1st Run:
- Muscle Replacement
- Dermal Plating
- Hand Razors
- Cyberarm
- Smartlink
- Wired Reflexes
- Cortex Bomb
- Chipjack I
- Chipjack II
- Chipjack III

Underworld:
- None to speak of

Corp Wars:
- <whistles innocently>

2nd Run:
- Haven't heard anyting here playtesting or otherwise. I know a few cards are
slated to be pulled out in the reprint and some new ones are going in. If any
will be gear cyberware... <shrug>

1st Run has covered most of the usual cyberware. I'm curious what others you'd
be looking for: cybereyes, spurs, cyber skull or torso? I don't know what else
would have a real game application.

[Ladd, Peter] OK, OK...rub it in... <grin> So I missed a couple!

Underworld:

[Ladd, Peter] Actually, this is the list I was primarily looking
at, and would probably account for the confusion. {How's that for a
sidestep?}

Corp Wars:
- <whistles innocently> [Ladd, Peter] Uh huh...

2nd Run:

[Ladd, Peter] Well, a previous response regarding cybereyes as a
boost to targetting and/or filtration systems; but I was mainly thinking of
stackables like skillsofts on a slot card. Ya know, a cyber slot level 1
could hold one skill soft...etc. You could then expand your runner's
ability to sleaze. Something along those lines.
Again, keep in mind, I've played one whole afternoon so far, and
most of the nuances of the game are still outside my realm of experience.

How about Vehicle Control Rigs --
Piloting +X (X = level of VCR)

VCR 1 - Uncommon
VCR 2 - Rare

This gives other runners to ability to get the much needed piloting
skill without relying on Chipjack/Skillsoft combos. There is a
precedent in Muscle Replacement which adds +1 Athletics.

Along the same lines, how about Bioware? Bone lacing (additional
armor), adrenal pump (+1 to Melee & gives stamina trait), air filter (as
enviro body suit).

Any other ideas?

Bone Lacing is cyberware. Orthoskin could work for what you're going for.

Enhanced Articulation would be cool. Possibly +1 to Stealth.

Symbiotes could let a runner heal w/o turning but have an upkeep of 1.

Synthicardium gives +1 to athletics.

I think Bioware should be added as a Gear class, since it reduces
Essence loss. OTOH, this is just a card game - letīs not get too much
into RPG specifics. ---Felix

Actually - Bioware doesn't cause Essence loss. If we went totally by
the rpg, you'd be able to stack up Bioware equal to the Body rating of
the Runner -- well, you could even stack up more and suffer some
drawbacks (but not automatically be trashed, like Essence loss causes).

Bradley Rebh had a pretty cool idea, which basically had an upkeep or
pay-per-use (I forget which) with the card, which could be temporarily
diverted with the use of specials or tokens. I'll have to look the post
up. Brad, if you're listening, care to post that stuff again?

How about legs..., heads...., bones, move-by-wire, various other cyber
weapons whatever body parts u can think of.... I'm dying to see how wierd a
mutant Hatchetman 2057 can turn out to be.... Crank them out slowly of
course....

Speaking of which any ideas for bioware game mechanics yet?

Yes! I can finally agree on you on some point!
Bioware does not suck up your essence...except on magically active
characters...
Since in the game they cannot use cyber, could they possibly use bio... This
makes mundanes very powerful... magic in the rpg was hell of alot more
powerful than it is in the card game which basically balanced mundanes and
magicians... Any decent mage could fry a typical runner (typical not
over-chromed)... Mages in the TCG are however very weak... and don't really
have a fixed purpose yet but except in a supporting role unlike muscle,
decking, firepower or the various theme decks (Hmm maybe with the totems
shaman decks are viable but I haven't tried them yet)... I'd like to see
improvements to the magic (esp. spells and mage objectives) before a chrome
and bio improvements (the current chrome is quite good already)... It'll
give another avenue of deck building a boost before improving on one which
already works very well....

Gee I seem to have gone off topic.... Sorry....

Hmmm... I'd like to see this....

I would definantly want it listed as Gear/Bioware. Can you imagine giving Sqwaaark!
something that gives you extra melee? Those hand razors would become the ultimate weapon
of choice. :) If we want to get into the RPG side, you could have the limit of Bioware
set to be, say, the unmodified body of the runner. In other words, you have the Adrenal
pump cost, say, 3 Body, the Muscle articulation cost 2 body, etc... Someone like Stomper
could have up to 7 points of Bioware, even if he was modified with Muscle Augs, Dermal
Plating, and a Berette, his max is still 7.

Mages and Shamans still couldn't use Bioware, and we'd have to have some combinations
would have to be prevented (IE: Muscle Augs could not be used with Muscle replacements).

ah well, one can dream...
