Just thought I'd pass on some good news.

I heard back from Jim Nelson on my proposal that they post some info
about the SRCard list. I suggested that, should they post some info
about the list and how to sub, we'd be able to lighten some of their
question and email load by providing a resource for the more common
questions/issues. Plus, questions that do get passed up to them will
be coming more from a single source and hopefully trim down some
duplicates.

Jim felt this was a good idea, and just has to run it past the "powers
that be." Looks like SRCard may be getting some official FASA
exposure. :o)

WOO HOO!!! Gratz to us! Now if we can just get that movie deal, I think
we'd all be set for life! "These are the true stories of the broke and
addicted: an inside look at gamers."

On a more serious note, maybe this will help get suggestions taken more
seriously. Maybe our card ideas and rule changes will become something
they consider, who knows! It can't hurt at any rate!

That _is_ good news. I've read FASA's "please limit your questions"
message on their webpage. Maybe if they "politely suggested" that
people direct their SRTCG questions to the SRCARD list, they could do it
without having to go thru the laborious process of officially endorsing
us (& without losing face, too!).

Oh, yeah! Break out the champagne! (And, Andrew - FASA's on the SR
Webring now, you might want to pester them about the SRCard Webring.)

Is there an official rep subbed to the list, Loki?

No not yet. I've heard a few times from Jim Nelson that he and/or
Skuzzy have plans to sub to SRCard. However, crunch time for the 2nd
Print and Underworld expansion, plus recent vacation time have kind of
bumped that a bit.
