Boy, I can't wait to have Maria Mercurial and Foxy Roxy go at it in a Bar
Fight... (grin)

My thanks to whoever got the issues where the Underworld promos are
coming... if you (or anyone) can do the same for 2nd run I'd be very
grateful.

T'was me via my contacts at FASA. (I knew that schmoozing at GC'97
would pay off in the long run. ;o)

I'll be hitting them up for such info when 2nd Run startes edging
closer to release date, and as usual SRCard will be the next in line
to know when I do.

We knew that. She's supposed to be a 2nd Run promo. Since 2nd Run is not
released yet, the promo(s) have yet to be printed as well.

The scan we have is from a preview of 2nd Run as featured in Lotus Noir.

What we're trying to discern is whether or not the "to be released" Maria will
be the card we've seen in the LN article, and then whether or not either this
one or a changed card will be released in the US.

Not alot to discern from the response you got. It knida sounds like there may
be a US Maria, but you can read into it either way.

Maria Mercurial was supposed to be released as a promo for the seconed
edition. From what I have heard and understand she was actually
released in Lotus Noir in France. She was never intended for release in
America. Is this just a Shadowrun rumor I and my friends fell for?

Actually no, she will be a promo for 2nd Run, which is now slated for a 1999
release date. FASA says she will be available state side in one form or
another. You're not finding her, 'cause she hasn't been released yet.

Actually, my proposal on SRCard and to the DLOH's has been for three promos
for 2nd Run, each being Maria as a different personality (Innocent, School
Mistress, Amazon). Playing one personality forces any other in play to be
trashed, so Maria might switch personalities back and forth throughout the game.
