OK, here's the deal from Rett Kipp, their marketing guy...

Basically, I THINK maria is a FASA card (I could be wrong on this though)
and is available only through whatever that French magazine over there is...

The reason is this: She's pretty much naked, and apparently shows a little
too much skin for distribution in the US. It MAY become available over
here through special promos (Like mailing in like NERPS), but he wasn;t
sure yet how to handle it.

My suggestion: E-mail FASAMktg@***.com and POLITELY (Big fragging emphasis
here... You guys act like asses and I find out, I'll hunt you down and
kill you in your sleep!) request that the Promo be made available in some
form here in the US.

Ok, next issue: Corp War and 2nd run.

These are both mostly finished. However, FASA is a small company, and the
Artwork and Printing of the card game (Which is MUCH more art intentsive
than other FASA products) takes up a lot of their resources, and the Third
Edition of Shadowrun RPG has really tied them up the last few months.

Rett hopes to have Corp War out early 4th quarter (Which, IIRC, is late
september/early October). This is the earliest FASA has space to get
something done and out at this point.

2nd Run is an altogether different problem. FASA does still have the First
Run cards available, and they want to sell those out complately first. So
if your having trouble finding First Run cards, tell your game shops to
bitch at their distributors, or contact FASA directly and order direct.

Having seen the actual artwork, I can guarantee you it's *not* that racy
- although I'd warrant the card would drop a lot more jaws than Foxy
Roxy. Again, all of what's been said -- and not just by me -- is
unofficial. Keeps your ears perked!

Actually - not to bash the book or the company - but SR3 reused a *lot*
of artwork. It's interesting, noting which pictures haven't made it
into card-form yet and wondering what they're card might be like.

Not if I catch them first Bull...course, they'll be happy to see you to
end their misery. The good people at FASA don't need grief.

Ok, quickly on this. Shadowrun TCG was originally developed a
year or two before this version of the game was. They decided to
spike it mostly because it was going to be too intensive art wise for
them to pull it off without hindering their other lines.
