Yep, more Q's from the new guy. Thx for the card list that people
offered up, and thx for pointing me to some cool web sites. I checked
out Matt's and Phil's, very nice.

So, what are the "net.expansions" and the "mini-expansions"? Are
these actual cards and where do I get them?

Is the "Limited Edition" and the first run cards that are out now, the
same thing?

I read that there was 1 rare in every booster. Is this correct?

Matt's (or was it Phil's) player registry doesn't seem to be working.
Is there another?

Any players/traders in mid-Missouri?

Ok, that's it for now. I was a little leary about these cards because
I couldn't find a price list in Inquest or any of the magazines. I
thought maybe they weren't very popular. Glad to see there is a
thriving discusion list. Very cool.

Not a problem. It's why I fired up SRCard three days after Gen Con last year.
BTW for those interested, this marks SRCard's first anniversary. :o)

They're "dream cards." They don't actually exist, but are collections or sets
of cards that would be cool to see may it into the really-real-world someday.
They also serve as possibilities or ideas to be pulled from for real FASA
expansions.

Same thing. Limited Edition is the correct name for the original set you now
have. 1st Run is the slang that came about when referring to the LE, since the
reprint is called 2nd Run.

> I read that there was 1 rare in every booster. Is this correct?

Yes. 1 Rare in a Booster, 2 Rares in a Starter. Though there were some sorting
issues with 1st Run that may lead you no getting numbers outside of this norm.

Matb or Phil, you guys wanna field this one?

> Any players/traders in mid-Missouri?

Can't help you there. However, if you ever find yourself in the Phoenix, AZ,
area...

Actually, if I remember right, I've seen a price list in InQuest or Shadis,
but they were kinda wacked on their pricing scale.

As a list whole, we kinda discourage price lists for SRTCG as such things
start to commercialize a game and take the fun and gentleman-trader aspect out
of it.

Glad you like the list, and again welcome.

Just as a little teaser:
You may (most probably) soon be able to play (online) SRCCG using these
cards.
More info will follow in the next few weeks.

IIRC, there are 3 rares in a starter. At least, there were 3 in every
starter I ever bought, and I bought 14 or so. See my previous message as
to why I think buying starters makes more sense than buying boosters.

You're right. It was a typo on my part. I meant 3. <blush>

The net.expansions are all fictional cards. (I've got three sets of
varying sizes, Forrest has one on his page, iirc.) The exception to
this is the Amerindian expansion on my site, which is open for
submissions and will eventually be passed on to FASA as a SRCard
tribute/prayer. I'm actually mid-way through rev 4 of the card list for
Amerindian, so keep your eyes peeled; they'll hit the list soon.

Email me directly if you're looking for players in your area (or if you
just want to be on the registry). Currently my webpage is kind of
messed up, and Geocities has been locked up so I haven't had a chance to
update it. (Weak excuse...)

Yeah -- every time I try to log on to the Geocities server, I get a nice
computer freeze and have to reboot. Thphphphpt. I may just end up
moving the page (or, more likely, mirroring it on a more active server).
