I am posting my current deck which has worked well in 3-4 player games. I
would like the lists feedback on viewed strengths and weaknesses of the
deck.

Objectives:
Amazonian Hunt(2)
Cleanse the Hive
Dunkelzahn's Black Book
Room 5B78
Site of Power
Total: 225 points
<6 cards>

Runners:
Glitz(4)
Thrash(4)
Wishbone(4)
Scarecrow(3)
Scorpio(2)
Knuckles(2)
Ripper
Kham
<21 cards>

Gear:
Bulldog Van(3)
Dermal Plating(3)
Muscle Replacement(3)
City Spirit(3)
Nature Spirit(3)
Fireball(2)
Heal(2)
Sleep(2)
Bullet Barrier
Lucky Wabbit's Foot
Maglock Passkey
<24 cards>

Challenges:
Ambused en Route
Highway Showdown
The Big Chase
Guardian Dracoform
Nets
Runners on Retainer
Hunting Gargoyle(2)
Mage Strike Force(2)
Maglocks(2)
Manticore(2)
Mine Field(3)
<17 cards>

Locations:
Iron Lung(2)
<2 cards>

Contacts:
Squatter
<1 card>

Specials\Stingers:
Riots(4)
Nerps
False Mentor
Wild Goose Chase(2)
Even Steven(2)
<10 cards>

75 card deck.

It's obviously a heavy magic\Ork deck.

The cyberware and bodyguards are used to protect the whimpy guys.

Rockers are for the money, and Kham is for the bonus to the orks. I put
the bulldogs on the rockers as they come up and stockpile the riots to
throw either in one big hit, or after people come back really wounded.

The lucky wabbits foot is used and pulled out of the trash with the
squatter (expensive, yet effective)

The even stevens are used for anyone who throws a Humanis polyclub, or
kills the squatter.

The Iron Lung is used to get cards so I can always get money.

Nerps is used for anything under the sun.

Any questions or comments would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mamo

Eeeep. Those are all pretty daunting. I'm kind of surprised that you
didn't include a Ragnarok, however -- the added Social skill to sleazing
requirements makes it a really tough run.

While the Rockers are almost necessary, I'd suggest easing back on Glitz
and substituting in Jackyl: He's another Ork Mage, and as a burn-out he
can use cyberware as well. Good cost-to-stat ratio as well. (Skag's
got an incredible cost-to-stat ratio, but that Anti-social thing really
hurts... he's rare, too, so you might not have extras.)

Reaper and/or Razorback might make a nice addition, although both are
terribly expensive; you don't have a lot of skills, though, so a nice,
well-rounded runner might come in handy.

Ripper's a cool card. I always used to overlook him. But he's got good
stats and a much-needed Tech skill.

That's an awful lot of spirits for just a few (one?) Runner who can use
them. Because of the Indoor/Outdoor thing, I suggest replacing them
with Elementals -- slightly weaker, but Wishbone can use two of them
anyway. Since he's got C-2, you might want to add in an ally Spirit;
the stat bonus is nice but the ability to duck damage is nicer.

Luckly you - you have an extra Passkey :P

Highway Showdown sticks out: None of your Runners have Piloting (but
then again - why do we always judge Challenges by whether the deck can
sleaze them or not?) Runners on Retainer is kind of surprising, too,
since none of your Runners are that tough - but I've always liked the
built-in Threat Rating better myself.

No surprise here. :)

I'd really suggest some Loaded Dice; they help against the Bug
Challenge, Ripper's ability (when you want to make sure you get the
money) and the Lung. OK, it'll make your deck too big and I can't think
of anything to take out except the Riots...

Might want to trim down the size of your deck. cut out some of the
challenges, and maybe a gear(matrix) card or 2. Just a thought.

Hi again!

I´ve rebuilt my deck several times from the original, and now here´s my
60-card deck (I didn´t get Underworld yet). This deck might come into
trouble with lack of Challenges, but I can´t decide what to replace to
get a higher proportion of Challenges. Please comment if you have
sufficient experience. I´ve played a lot of tournaments (almost twice a
week since January), and the trouble is that I kept missing certain
cards I needed on my hand to win. Our champion´s deck is also a 60 card
deck, and mine has a lot of similarities with his. As I own all but 19
cards, feel free to make suggestions about cards to add or replace.

Objectives: Hive x2, Cermak x2, Sucker x4 (I took out the Brawls as it
came out that they were too easy to crack for my opponents).

Runners:
Skwraaaaaark! x2
Glitz x4
Thrash x4
Knuckles x3
Gore Tusk x4
Lord Torgo

Gear:
Hand Razors x4
Katana x3
Heavy Armor (Full) x2
Bulldog Van x4
Doc Wagon (Platinum)
Harley Scorpion x2
Lucky Wabbit´s Foot

Specials:
Tactics: Scatter
Blindsided
All Or Nothing
Luck O´The Irish
False Mentor
Wanted x3
Bad Reputation x2

Challenges:
Toxic Spirit x2
Corpselight x2
Killer Drone
Runners On Retainer x2
Kuenstliche Intelligenz
Heavy Sentry Gun
Booby Trap x2

need to add more objectives. You
must have 6 objectives, and sucker run does NOT count toward that
minimum. The runners look great. You might not need 4 bulldog vans in
your deck. I would also take out the bad reputations. Chances are that
(except for your famers) most of your guys are big enough they probably
wont get attacked too often. Finally, throw a few extra challenges in.
Most decks work well between 60 and 70 cards. If you took out the cards
I suggested (say 2 bulldog van and 2 bad rep), and added threw in 6
additonal challenges, your deck would only be 62 cards. For the
challenges, well, I've always been partial to maglocks.

Just my two cents worth

yes i know that they are bigger and tougher butwhat you need in a deck like is
armor not toughness, the power is added when you drop the wepons on him.
also, two mors skwraaaaaark's couldnt hurt

to solve the challenge problem, just intercept the first time your opponent
trys to run then just draw up and hopefully you will pull challenges. a key
point to remember also is that not many decks can take the hive early on even
if there isno challenges on it so if you can, leave it bare till you have
extra challenges to drop there

hope this can help alittle

First issue is here. According to our SRCard Q&A, Jim & Skuzzy have
stated that Suckers don't count towards the minimum of six Challenges.
You either need to add a couple more or trade out two of the Suckers.
"Waking the Dead" from Underworld may be a good choice for fitting
with your choices.

Oh, in the beginning everyone around here loved the Maglock too - but
now that I have a few Maglocks Passkeys that challenge isn't a real
challenge anymore :-)
You might want to add a Cherry Bomb to your runners - never know if
someone's not playing Fuchi... or just to destroy their Iron Lung and
see them work hard to get through their deck!

As far as I see it, there´s no benefit of Stomper over Gore Tusk with a
Katana - the final Attack value is the same. I want to reserve the Hand
Razors for my Skwraaaaaarks, if possible. ---Felix

Um... Stomper doesn't trip personnel alarms, or damage guys with that new

There are 3 advantages:
1) No antisocial
2)He's cheaper to get on the table
3)Stamina

I made the mistake of overlooking the Stamina of Stomper - I changed it
back. The one Nuyen really doesn´t make me care much. As far as other
changes go, I´ll have to wait ´til I get the Underworld set - that
should be next week, hopefully. ---Felix

This deck I found to make people pull there hairs out. Most of the time I
only need to make 1 objetive to win a 80 point game. It has backfire against
quick decks because it takes me about 3 to 4 turns to have everything in
place. Blindsided and Lofwyr's Schemes have won me alot of games. The
dealers are so slow here I'm finally getting Underworld tomorrow. It's about
time. If anyone out there is from Calgary, Alberta or area that wants to
play, e-mail me. There's next to no one to play here.

FASA's made the announcement that Sucker Run does not count toward the
minimum number of Objectives needed. Should be erratad in Second Run.
