I have been knocking around in my head a deck that has a good mixture of
skills, stopping power, and combat prowess without being a "Thug" deck.
Here is my idea:

(20 runners)
Cherry Bomb x2
Kracker Jack x2
Mugsy x2
Reaper x2
Red Widow x2
Roadrash x2
Shasta x2
Thrash x2
Tinkerbell x2
Wishbone x2

(22 gear)
Vindicator Minigun x2
Defiance Shotgun x2
Robo-Doc x2
Shriek 1000 x2
Crawler Drone x1
Hunter Drone x1
Protective Spirit x2
Ally Spirit x2
Hellblast x1
Sleep x1
Bulldog Van x2
Fixed Fire Cannons x2
Steamroller x1
Browse x1

(16 specials/stingers)
Luck of the Irish x2
Deja Vu x2
Big Break x2
Whoops! x2
Some Things Never Change x2
Wild Goose Chase x2
Intimidation x2
Cover Up x2

(10 challenges)
Chomps 2000 x2
Security Consultant x2
Double Jepoardy x2
Maglocks x2
Hunting Gargoyles X2

(2 contacts)
Squatter x2

(7 Objectives)
Crossfire x2
Sucker Run x1
Operation Cottonmouth x1
Amazonian Hunt x1
Nosferatu Den x1
Cake Walk x1

I know that this deck may seem kind of odd, but I think that this will
be a fairly good in play. If things go bad, the specials can buy some
time I think. Only 10 challenges is a low number for a 70 card deck (not
including the objectives), but I will just reshuffle if I don't start
with any challenges in my hand (and pray that some challenges will be in
the second).

I welcome comments about this deck, good or bad. Of course, constructive
criticism is the goal I have in mind.

That's what they're always for

No, sorry. While the odds of geeting one chalenge in your first hand are
good, one challenge is totally useless without proper backup. One foxy Roxy
with a maglock passkey can go through 8 of your challenges. Throw in a Sleep
spell and that's everything, with two runners, no matter if you do have
three challenges in your starting hand, I'll be able to go through them with
ease.

<snip deck for space>

I have to say from experience that you are way to gear heavy, and like you
said too few challanges. I've found with that much gear unless you get a good
shuffle that you too frequently end up with handfuls of gear cards with noone
to play them on, so you end of trash good cards in order to get you necessary
runners and challenges.

Eith the low number of mages/shamans/riggers you might want to limti the
number of gear cards to the same number of people that can use them. Just a
thought

Jason
