Cool! I think this is the first time I have seen such a similar deck to
one of mine. Still, some interesting variations. I haven't given
thought to advantages or disadvantages yet. I'll post my deck alongside
yours for idea generation. Feel free to critique my deck. It's one I
often lend to players that have played once or twice. It does well
against most decks, and has a fighting chance against the best decks I
have drawn up. I haven't used my best cards in this deck, and some day
hope to allocate the time to polish this one off. Hopefully this
comparison of different approaches around the same theme can be fun for
the list members!

My deck started as a sleaze/Rigger deck, and I had a bunch of chipjacks
and skillsofts, as well as 2 Uncle Joes. However, I noticed that my
best games were when I didn't use the skillsofts and relied on the
runners instead. I still want to refine the runners. Perhaps I will
remove Static and one other runner.

I have thought of adding a Doc Wagon Platinum to the gear list, but
haven't to save Nuyen. I might, though. My strategy is to dish out the
drones, but I also have the 2 katanas for my other muscle, which tend to
have melee. The Bulldog Van can protect weaker runners, and the
Harley's do the same, while Roadrash makes them cheap.

Hunter would be better if I had more free Nuyen. Elven Hitman is cheap
to put down, and is really just an insurance policy in case another
player has a contact I don't like. I would like to hear what contacts
others would put in my deck.

I see you are using Shadowland instead of Club Vortex, as in other decks
of yours. Did you switch this recently? I may have to take your lead
and put in a second Renraku. The Iron lung is so I can choose Nuyen
each round instead of drawing cards, as Nuyne is crucial to speeding my
deck up and securing my runners.

I lucked out with the Rare electrical challenges. A couple of
interesting ones are here as well. Maglocks can really lock runs if it
shows up twice in a row. In the same manner, Poison Gas Trap and
Voiceprint ID Scanner can be strong challenges if my opponent rolls
wrong on Robo-Plant. Motion Detectors can be used to shut down another
objective and force opponents to run on my objective (where they will
hopefully loose many runners) or on my objective to make it harder for
my opponent to take the objective I want (like Robo Plant when I need
cash). I used to have a Time-Delayed Bomb in the mix, but as much fun
and psychological fun as it was, it wasn't worth it.

The Robo Plant is the heart of the deck, combining with
electrical challenges (which get +1 damage and on a 5+ show up again)
and riggers (who get 2 Nuyen if they are present on a run against Robo
Plant). I have used a Cermak Blast in the past, since the demolitions
skill gives me extra rep.

The only differance really is in the number of runners. I choose not
to use any deckers, because of the two Matrix Crashes in my deck.
That way I can play them without hindering any of my own cards.

Actually, I put the DWPs in to save nuyen. I really hate to see
a Roadrash die while holding Two Dobermans. I used to have a bunch of
vehicles in the deck, but they tended to slow me down.

It is always nice to have a way to kill off annoying Contacts. I can't
say enough about the Squatter. It is a bit expensive to use to get back
Runners or Gear, however it works wonders for restocking an Objective with
that maglock or Killer Drone your opponent just worked hard to get by.

I see you have been reading my decks. ;) Shadowland allows for me to
make up for the lack of Recon. Besides, this deck rarely needs to
boost up their body rating to survive a shadowrun.

Once again the only differance is in the number of specials. I would
highly recomend switching the All or Nothing in for the Just a Rumor.

Keep in mind that Robo-Plant only works with combat challenges. I'ld
take the Sentry Gun out for a Maglock. And I'ld be careful with the
four HSG. I used to play with 4 Killer Drones and 4 HSG, but they
always ended up doubling up on an objective when I did that. Usually
that would be a good thing, but it can lead to an easy Rep gain for
a sleaze team.
