Hi all,

Does anyone play with a Nerps! card in their deck? I'm contemplating
adding one to my deck, but I have a question.

The text on the Nerps! card reads, "Choose a target Gear card (except
Spirits and Drones) and treat Nerps! as an exact duplicate of that card."
By "target Gear card," does this mean a card already in play? In other
words, can I use a Nerps! as a Doc Wagon (Platinum), for example, even if I
don't own a Doc Wagon (Platinum)? If I do own one, but it's buried in my
draw pile somewhere, can I still use the Nerps! card as one?

Thanks!

David Reis

Reffering to most cards games, you cannot target something that is not in
play, so i think you can only chose something already in play.

You can duplicate any card already in play. I donīt own a NERPS, but my
opponents often have one. They like to duplicate Wabbitīs Foot, Heavy
Full Armors, and like Wyrmy said Cannons.

Seems reasonable. I take it, then, that I can target an opponent's card
that is in play to give myself the same card?

Yes, You can do that. That is the reason the card is quite sought after
- duplicating a card you already own and have in play isnīt half the fun
of duplicating an opponentīs gear.
