Hi, All.

Let's see if we can get some of the newbies back on topic, eh?

The Doomsday Device

I would've liked to include more Ambidextrouses, but I didn't have them
until that weekend on trades. Needless to say, I really didn't need them.
This deck was played as a suprise. No one really knew what I was going to
play. My goal was to play Torgo with 2 Whips, Ambidex., Heavy Armor, Doc
Plat, Lucky Wabbit's, and Wired Reflexes. However, my Amb. card would have
to be at the bottom, so I stuck one with Ravage. Good trade, actually.

With all my runners out, there would be plenty of fodder for Skills to cash
in. The various runners almost insured that I'd be able to sleaze any
challenges I faced. Ravage and Torgo could deal the same amount of damage
all day, and their high melee skill made it rare that they'd take AP damage
from the whips. Ahhhh, Stamina....

Anyhoo, I tried to keep the gear to functional. For the two deckers, I not
only could visit Fuchi if I wanted some small amount of cash (I think
Fuchi's cheap for getting rep....why not then call it FuchiRun, not
Shadowrun....self defeating....but I digress....)

Fastjack would allow me to choose the order to face challenges so I could
sleaze as far as possible. My challenges were designed to stop other big
running teams. Mine Field is especially mean on a 6 runner team with no
demolitions and low body...Oops, AP is a bad thing... :-)

Better Offer was to cause havoc with a friends' Merc deck (where he got the
idea is a different story...) So was the Troll Bouncer, as some friends
play big decks that require multiple runs to the Iron Lung. It's all gravy
for me....

Shady Managers? Get me money from other bands, and keep mine to myself.
Also the Even Stevens were for those who had better bands than I did, and
were trying to protect themselves with their own Managers.

Anyway, this deck did okay. It won, which I was happy about. Of course,
this one was played without any foreknowledge of what I was gonna use. I'm
sure they've geared up to try and take it down now, but it was fun while it
lasted (now going into retirement...)

Any comments are welcome.

Cheers,

Jon
