Gee thanks for the "in depth" analysis there...
Please enlighten us further.
LETS examine the "sucking" cards shall we...
Just a Rumor -Special- 4 nuyen
Play during a shadowrun on a target Challenge that has just been revealed.
Roll D6. On 3+, trash target Challenge. May be played once per Challenge
stack on the Objective.
This when combined with Recon can eliminate that dangerous challenge that
always seems to trip up a team of Runners. The Big Bruisa Decks can
eliminate that Maglock that trips Torgo up everytime, while the Sleaze Deck
can avoid the Guardian Dracoform that geeks the whole lot of them.
DEFINITELY does not suck.
Fastjack - Decker - 7/1 nuyen
Prime Runner. 4 nuyen: Runner team may look at all Challenges on an
Objective and choose the order in which to encounter them.
Hmm, I can decide whether to face the Yakuza Assassin (no Underworld yet for
me, so I think thats right) before or after the Flock of Geese. Fastjack
guarantees that a runner team should nearly ALWAYS survive a run on an
objective. You can avoid that one Challenge that would hose the entire team.
( ie Read Just a Rumor)
Mage Strike Force - Challenge
Sleaze - Stealth and Sorcery 2
Threat Rating - 6/6 (A1)
2 nuyen : +2/+2 (A+1) until end of turn
How can this be bad???? Hold off doing anything for two turns and save up
cred, wait until your opponent hit this and smack his team for 14/14 (A5)...
Hi Torgo, want to drink your food through a straw? Have a few rockers, or
wait a bit longer... the damage this pumpable challenge can do is amazing.
DEFINITELY does NOT suck.
I personally find Torgo annoying and one dimensional, but I'm not out here
posting anti-Torgo messages. Actually, I found the discussion about Torgo
interesting... granted I still won't use him in my Elf deck (mostly because
he don't fit), but its a good argument.
Oh yeah, if the GridSecs, our FL, or our AFL want to reprimand me for this,
ok.... but for you MtG players (I know, I know, no one wants to admit to
playing that NOW), remember Necropotence was a DUMB card until someone put
two and two together and kicked some serious butt in the first Pro Tour.
I guess perspective changes everything.
