allright, say i have a gang leader (contact) out, i spend the 3 nuyen ,
and roll a 5 (all gangers recieve +2/+1 until end of turn). wold this bonue
carry over to lord torgo because he is a "ganger leader". he is still a
ganger, he is just the leader. i am just curious, the thought occured while i
was prepairing to build a gang member deck and i saw that torgo was a ganger
leader.

excepting any ruling i missed, that is the way how my group of gamers play.
ganger leaders are gangers, just as street mages are mages. does sound a
little strange that Torgo gets ordered around by another gang leader; or
Yoshimo Chang or the lil grey guys for that matter...

Interestingly, the German cards are titled more precisely. Wether that
is a matter of language or care of phrasing I´m not sure. In the German
cards, gangers are explicitly called gang members or gang leaders, so
the contact does only apply to the former. That is the way we play it,
anyway. I would like to read an official statement on what rule should
be applied.

IMHO it would apply to Torgo asw well. As I see it, all Gang Leaders
are Gangers, just not all Gangers are Gang Leaders.

It's just semantics as some cards are Shamans and others might say
Street Shaman...
