Ok now that I have some of these cards, I'm looking for some
clarifications to some ruling questions I have. Sorry if any of this is
duplicate or stirs up any old flame wars, but here it goes!

1) Can you use more than one ADAM BOMB in a deck?

2) When dealing damage because of a roll of 5+, does the damage affect
all runners drones spirts and challenges or just your own? (ie. does
"present" mean in the game or in your safehouse, or what?)

3) If more than one ADAM BOMB is allowed in play at once, is the damage
cumulative? (Ie one AB does 5 damage to another AB, thus causing it to
die and do 5 damage to all others, etc, etc, etc?

4) What other rulings/timing issues/thoughts/suggestions do you have for
using AB. If it is possible to use 4 AB's in a deck (see above) what
card combinations would you suggestions do you have for complementing
these fine runners?

Thanx for your time and brain power!

Adam Bomb
Type: Runner
Rarity: Promo
Description: Legendary Dwarf Rocker
Notes: 3¥. 2/3. Fame-2. Owning player rolls a D6 at the start of his
legwork phase each turn. On a 5+ (or if Adam dies) each
Runner/Challenge present takes 5 damage. Trash Adam Bomb.

Adam B. is not designated as Unique so yes, you can have up to four in
a deck. He also isn't a Prime Runner, so all four could be in play at
one time. (Eeeesh, talk about playing with fire.)

Ok, I'm tired of typing it out, so I'm creating an official SRCard
abbreviation (RBT = Rulebook Thingy. :o)

RBT, page 14, says:
"Present: A card referred to as 'present' may be in one of three
situations. 1) On a shadowrun. This includes all Runners on the
shadowrun as well as the currently revealed Challenge. 2) In the
safehouse. This includes all unturned Runners currently in the
safehouse. 3) In Runner-against-Runner combat. This includes all the
Runners involved in the combat on both sides."

Activated spirits or drones would be "present" and count as runners in
regards to combat and damage, so they'd also factor into the above.

I would say each set of damage is doled out seperately, and thus yes
it would be cumulative to those taking it. (I wouldn't want to be in
your safehouse just waiting for those little buggers to blow.)

I took Adam B. out of my deck. Sure it's nice to net that 2 extra nu
yen a turn from his fame, and with the four you're talking about
that's another 8 a turn. However, he WILL blow eventually. It's gonna
happen. A smart opponent with a Loaded Dice or Deja Vu will probably
make it sooner rather than later. Unless you get him out first thing
in the game and hold onto your runners 'til he's gun, Adam is gonna
take most of the runners present with him. Four of these guys in a
chain reaction of 20 damage is just suicide to a Safehouse or
Shadowrun. <shudder>

I'll be picking up some more Starters/Booster with B-day money this
weekend. Thus I'll have more trade fodder coming in. I'll let you and
the list know when this is. (Down to about 30 needed cards myself.)

Also Todd, your Reply-To field is overriding the List's address.

Awwww come on! You play with fire long enuff, your gonna get burned! I
was considering it more as a money making opportunity, and thought about a
deck that requires lots of money to screw with an opponent.

Besides, if I understand this right then (probably not) wouldn't AB be a
great card to intercept a shadowrunning team. If he stops them, he dies
(assuming enough damage to him) then all your opponents cards who went on
the run take 5 damage as well?? Is this correct? If so, seems like a
pretty good way to take out a group of runners!

Ummmm, so how do I fix that? I don't get to see my own messages, so I had
no idea it was happening, now that I know, I don't know how to fix it.

More food for thought. If the new release is comming out in November, that
means we have less than a month to complete our sets before we try to
complete the new set! SIGH, and here I thought I was saving money when I
quit MTG! I guess those college loans can wait a few more years! :^)

You're better off putting a cortex bomb in another runner. Still does
the 5 damage when he dies, but at least you're not having to roll a d6
to see if it randomly goes off each turn.

Somewhere in your mailer's configuration/setup should be a field for
Reply-To. That should be left blank. Most mailers now-days just take
your return address when people are replying, and the Reply-To is only
for use when they'd need to reply to a different email location for
you.

If there's anything in the Reply-To field for your mailer it will
stamp over the List's attempts to fill that field.

Egads! Well, another $50-$100 will be going into Boosters this
weekend, and then I'll be a trading deamon for the weeks following.

Yes, as he's not Unique (I think)

Present means all runners currently in a location. This means that in the
safehouse, only your runners get nailed. If he dies on a Shadowrun, it
would afftect all your runners as well as the challenge (if the challenge
was a creature to fight), and if he dies fighting another players runner(s)
(Whether from Bar Fight, Z-Zone, an Intercept, etc), then all runner in the
fight at the time would get zonked.

Yup yup. And since one adam will kill the other... OUCH!

Yes, use 4, hope they stay alive, then use the z-zone to wipe out an
opponents runners. if you have all four in play, and one goes boom, you'll
manage to deal 20 points of damage! :]

Not a problem.

That'll be 4 Nuyen for services rendered. :]

That would mean I would have to GET more Cortex bombs, SIGH! This is to
friggin expensive. Hell, I have over 5000 SRTCG cards and I'm still 30
cards away from a set! What's up with the card sort here FASA? At GenCOn
they said they were very happy with their sort. I guess they didn't get
any of the crap I got. Sometimes 3 of the same card in a booster. Some
sort!
