These are some questions that came up in our last playing sessions.
Sorry if some answers seem obvious, but the owner of the store where
we play insisted that they be included. I have emailed these to
fasacorp2 but no answer yet.

1. Can a Ceska be trashed for the 1 nuyen if the runner using it is
trashed(killed) during a shadowrun?

2. Does a revealed Motion Detector Challenge still count towards the
max number of challenges?

3. Does a runner with a katana add Melee skill to attack even if using
another weapon (like a pistol)?

4. Do flechette rds double just power of the weapon, or double the
power of the whole attack?

Ambiguous. I'd say no, just for the sake of "real world"ism, but a lot
of these special abilities are more or less treated like Stingers, so...

I'd assume that, like the Integrated Command Center, any Challenge that
gets permanently affixed to the Objective does not count toward the
number of Challenges. They're not quite as worthwhile if they do count.

A Runner may only use one Gear.Weapon card per Challenge or combat.
Since the Runner isn't using the Katana, he doesn't gain the bonus. (I
think Handrazors might be an exception to this.)

I find it easiest to play Gear.Weapon cards by way of L5R, where each
Runner can have only one - but I can see reasons why you might want to
equip a Runner with more (one word - Razorheads.)

I assume its doubling the power of the entire attack. (Otherwise,
firearms should only deal out their bonus in the attack, not add to its
user's Attack Value.) Yes, this makes them incredibly nasty.

I haven't seen an official ruling on this.

My personal opinion would be yes you could. Trashing the Ceska would
be played as a stinger, and since it's your turn timing would be on
your side. Kinda like harvesting equipment off a fallen teammate and
selling it for the cash in the RPG. This is just MHO though.

I would think it plays like the Integrated Control Center that also
attaches to the objective and thus doesn't count towards you maximum
playable challenges.

No, you only get the card's bonus when using that weapon in combat.

Unlike Indirect Fire or Blazing Guns that specify just the weapon's
attack value, Flechette Rounds simply say the unarmored target takes
double damage so I'd say you double the combined attack value of the
runner and the gun.

For the sake of utter completeness, Time-Delayed Bomb should be added to
this list as well.
