Questions, Folks!

1. Where did most of you hear about this list? I know that it was
originally spawned (and hence publicised) on ShadowRN, the Shadowrun
mailing list <pluggity plug plug>, and that lots of you migrated here
from there. Yes, of course I recognise you, Bull, stop pulling my
sleeve. ;) However, there are lots of you that I *don't* recognise from
there - are you ShadowRN lurkers that have suddenly turned verbose over
here? (Exhibit A, yer Honor: Tony Glinka) Where else did you hear about
this?

2. Homepages, anyone? I have my own Shadowrun TCG page already, with
info about the game and trade/want lists, as I'm sure many more of you
do too. As the Assistant Fearless Leader of the list, I'm in the process
of putting together a semi-official List Page, and I was going to
include a section of listmembers' homepages. I think we'll have to
restrict it to TCG-related homepages, though - I don't have *that* much
space in my homepage directory :) So let me know if you have a
TCG-related page and I'll list it when the List Page goes up. Which I
will, of course, tell you about.

Wow. I think this keyboard is coated with some bizarre drug... it's
making me type lots today. :)

Loki did mention the list in rgf.cyber, and I'd assume he popped into
the rec.trading.cards (or whatever) lists as well. If not, someone had
better!

I'm from s-rn, of course. Quasi-lurker.

And soon it'll have lots of colorful giffy things. But be very *very*
quiet when you go in, because it's not supposed to exist.

Which reminds me.... (Are you really missing that many commons?)

I'd posted announcements on a couple of news groups for RPG's and
CCG's. I'd like to know if we got anyone that saw those.

Yep, i saw them there, and since I had recently un-sub'd from the
ShadowRN list (too much for me to keep up with again), I thought I'd
jump on another iTribe list :).

Guilty as charged. For the record, I was a grade AAA lurker of the
1st class on the ShadowRN list. I've been on the list for about two
years and posted maybe 5 times. I usually kept my mouth shut because
with Gurth, Spike, Adam J., Bull, Tinner, Loki, Lady Jestyr, Dvixen,
Granite, etc., most of the questions posted got answered before I even
saw them. (And if I missed somebody forgive me, it's really late
here.) Besides the server at school was really slow and the threads
were really old by the time I could respond. (And yes, I recall the
weeks of chaos that followed the day that Bull and Tinner joined the
list. Talk about exceeding mail storage quota. :) )
I have since gotten a better, faster email account and can actually
keep up with the lists. I also have decided to join the rest of the
world and leave my lurking days behind.
So to make a long answer short (too late), yes, I was a lurker and
have since gotten verbose. And yes, I heard about it when Loki posted
it on the ShadowRN list.
Does that help or have I made matters worse? Maybe, I'll go back to
being quiet. :) If you want to know more, let me know, but you may
soon wish I stayed mute. :) ( Or maybe I'll just bring back the Top Cat
Manifesto. :) Evil GM laugh.)

I heard about it on the alt.trading-card newslist.

<Question #1: big snip asking where people heard about the list>

<Question #2: big snip asking about people's homepages>

<Real big snip about my verbosity and former lurking habits>

What did my response last night kill this thread? Great. See if I
ever post again. :)

Since I never got around to answering question #2 last night, let's
get it out of the way. Actually, I am working on page to list
haves/wants and will pass along it's address to put on the semi-official
page as soon as I get it up and running.

I caught a quick post on rec.games.trading-cards.misc and subscribed right
away.
