Alright, heres some more clarifaction questions.

I have Roadrash (4/4), a Rigger with a Pilot of two. He has three Hunter
Drones on him. Lets start the questions.

1. Roadrash goes on a run with 5 other runners. Can I still activate a
drone?

2. Roadrash goes on a run by himself. If I activate both drones at the
first challenge, do the
drones stay activated throughout the whole run?

3. I am Roadrash, and have activated two drones. In the course of the run,
one of the drones
has been destroyed. Can I activate the third drone, since I am now only
using one?

4. Can I frag my drone in response to a booby-trap challenge, if the drone
is already activated?

Thanks for your help. Awnsering these questions will go a long way to
understanding how riggers (and indirectly Spirits) work. Cheers,

Rob

The Rigger rules definitely need to be explained better - I just bugged
Loki with more or less the same questions.

It seems to be that Roadrash can activate two of his drones (since he
has Pilot 2). While he's busy, Roadrash can't add his own attack power,
but can use any other skills as necessary (to help sleaze a Challenge).

Until they're trashed by that horkin' big Dracoform, yes.

I'd really have to say yes to this one. Remember that the rigger's the
chokepoint, and any Challenge or Stinger that takes him out takes the
drones out too.

Now, if Roadrash is fragged, are his drones fragged too? Or just
trashed?

I'd assume so. Roadrash sends the Rotodrone to inspect the security
door and.. k-boom.

Wait for the official rulings. Whatever the answers to 2 and 3 are,
they definitely should be added to the rulebook.

I have a question in to FASA for an official ruling on this. My
personal ruling is yes. Roadrash is the actual "Runner" holding
position in your allotted six, the drones are just his gear. The
rulebook says that once activated, treat a drone as a runner but I
feel that is just for purposes of deciding affects of Challenges and
dealing out damage. I believe the six runner limit per Shadowrun
applies only to cards with the word Runner written on them.

Yes. Once turned and activated, drones are present until the end of
the turn.

This is one I'm going to submit to FASA. The rulebook says a Rigger
may use a number of drones up to his piloting skill at any one time.
I'd say this means that if a drone is trashed or fragged, he may now
activate another to fill that spot.

Yes, the rules say to treat them as runners.
