Hi, I have the rare location Saeder Krupp which has the continuous
ability that at the beginning of each players legwork phase a dice is
rolled. On a 5 or six Saedder Krupp 'steals' the revealed objective with
the highest reputation points. If Saeder Krup accumulates enough points
in this manner it wins the game.

Are there any cards which can make use of this card to actually win you
the game?

It seems on the face of it to be a card that will, if you are lucky or
the game long enough to earn you a draw.

Comments, anyone?

Not that I've seen and not, I believe, according to any of the
spoiler lists.

I think that's /exactly/ what it's about. What's fun is that every
player (not just the "owner" - as if anyone but Lofwyr could ever
"own" Saeder-Krupp :-) can decide to roll. Basically, whoever's losing
tries to bring everyone else down. :-)

No, Lofwyr is out for himself. From the FASA FAQ:

*****
Can Saeder-Krupp win the game?
Yes. Lofwyr the dragon, owner of Saeder-Krupp, can in fact steal
victory from you mere mortals.

That's exactly what it's about.

Saeder-Krupp
Type: Location (Corporate HQ)
Rarity: Rare
Cost: 4¥. Text: Each player may roll D6 at the start of his Legwork
phase. 1-4: No effect. 5-6: Saeder-Krupp takes the
revealed Objective with the highest Reputation. Note the value and place
the Objective at the bottom of its owner's Objective pile. If
Saeder-Krupp obtains sufficient Reputation in this way, it wins the
game.

I don't get it. What happens if Saeder-Krupp wins the game? Does it have
to use runners to take it?
And what's the use for this card?

What happens? Well, none of the players wins. Does it have to use runners?
Does it say it does?
What's the use? Even if you can't win the game, do you really want your
opponent to?

This is an excellent defensive card...if you've ever seen cover up used well,
you've seen a way of keeping rep from a running team when you have no other
defense. This is good against quick bully decks -- at least it gives you the
option of removing a couple of objectives from the game... It's also good if
you want to force a run against a particular objective (like the virus one, or
an unsleazable one with tough challenges on it). Plus it strips challenges
from the game, always good for any deck... Very good if you have low
objectives, and can expect to strip the other guy's -- even better if you
still get higher rep when you take yours (objectives with rep bonuses for
particular teams). Anyway, I could go on...it can be a very useful card in
many situations! I love it! That and Lofwyr's stinger -- just generally game
altering!

Have a better one,
Chad
