wow, it's great to see FASA answering. just wanted some clarification to
make sur i'm still reading it right.

if they're a target of a wanted card, dooes the turned card still deal
damage. coming out of an l5r background, i'd say, they're spent and don't.
but from a battletech:ccg they just untap right before combat and tap
again. so what's the ruling on that?

so i'm still a little unclear on what a turned runner in the safehouse is
exactly. if i go on a shadowrun on my turn, after the shadowrun is over,
are my turned runners considered back in the safehouse (but turned). same
with locations or contacts? how about using a special ability? i use it
and then come back, worn out but still in the safehouse? or is that just
referring to stuff like GAQS where you can have turned runners for sure in
the safehouse? if it's the first, wow, it really is different than how
we've been playing it.

I've always played that they do. It's a *big* hoser if turned Runners
cannot inflict any damage (suddenly Torgo gets very, very small).

From the "easy-to-use" game mechanics presented so far, I don't think
FASA is going to worry whether they unturn just to turn again, or
whatever. (I've always hated MtG's micro-mechanics.. no, I've always
hated the constant *revisions* to the MtG system.)

I've always played that Runners that turn to visit Contacts, Locations
return immediately , and Runners on shadowruns are out of the house
until their next Refresh turn (unless sent back by a card or effect).
Makes shadowrunning a little more dangerous that way (and keeps
Locations and Contacts, whose effects are usually minor, safe).

I'm not sure I understand... Are you talking about a turned runner who is
in the middle of combat? If so, then I can;t think off hand of any
situation where you would be able to use one of these Specials to nail a
runner right before he deals damage in combat. They're Special, not
stingers, and thus must be played during their owners legwork phase.

He may use them on his own characters (Stupid, but possible), but I'm not
really sure... I'd say that if the Speical killed the character, then the
character would no longer deal any damage, provided the card was used
BEFORE comabt was started...

If your runner leaves the safe house for any reason (Shadowrunning, going
to a location, visiting a contact, visiting mom for the Holidays, etc.),
then he does not return to the safe house until your next Refresh phase...
Simple...;] And I'm glad it was finally explained...

GAQS, nets, gut check, etc. send the runner home immediately, which means
that they are present in the Safehouse as soon as the card takes effect.
