Well I took upon myself the quest of finding 4 of all the SRCCG promos.
When I started collecting RAGE (after it was worth nothing), and
Highlander (alpha) I found that in pretty much all cases, immediately
after the CCG promos are released, you have one or you don't. I got 4 of
each SRCCG promo at considerable expense (buy my first box of boosters
or get all the promos, I made a command decision). The biggest problem
was SHADIS. Apparently SHADIS does not have regular retail outlets,
retailers individually decide whether or not to carry it (and of course
you can always get a subscription....no thanx). It was not to be found
in Orange County. I searched from the edge of LA, Westminster to Irvine,
to West Claremont (if you don't know where that is, I can tell you I
went EVERYWHERE). I happen to live in SoCal, and upon calling SHADIS to
report my difficulty, it turns out they are based in Ontario 45 minutes
away. So I grabbed a Thomas Guide and went out. About 2 hours later (and
with a new 1998 Thomas Guide), I found their hideout, and it was HOT
that day. I went in and was suprised to recognize the guy at the front
desk as ???? (the manager from a shop I used to frequent). I said "Hey!
Been a long time. Look I was wondering if I could purchase 5 issue #44's
(at $3.95 that would eat the $20 in my pocket). He said step into the
warehouse. I did and was handed off to ????-2. Anyway...

????-2> Why do you want 5?

????-2> Here's 5 issues, that's $19.75, no tax.
Gary> (I see there IS a card inserted into each issue, Yippee!)Here's
$20, keep the change.

So I have 7 Extra Fuchi Industries. I have 1 extra Hatchetman 2057 (I
lost one and only need 2). If you need one, send 5$ and a SASE (one per
request with this method). If you want 4 and don't know anyone down here
who can get them for you, send 20$ and I'll personally get you 4. Yes I
know it's expensive, but I have to drive pretty far and back again. The
7 I'm selling are gonna be gone quick, 'cause this is posted on a
Newsgroup. If you want 4 of any other Promo, ask me, I'll see what I can
do. Email me to get mailing info and references.
