Dammit! What the hell's wrong with me!
Don't answer that! ;-)

Sorry for that folks, pay no attention to the little man behind the curtain.

BTW - To try to get back on topic, I finally managed to beat Bull in a
couple games of SRTCG this weekend.

My deck was mainly this -

4 Thrash
4 Glitz
4 Shade
4 Static
4 Elementals
1 Nature Spirit
1 City Spirit
4 Rapier
4 Streetline Special
4 Explosive Ammo
4 Nets
4 Gut Check
4 Street Scum
2 Swarm of Drones
4 Sentry Gun

A few other odds and ends to play with.

My Objectives were 3 Cake Walk, and 3 Ragnarock and Roll.

The deck played fairly well.
If I got a fast start with say Shade and Glitz, and an Elemental (given to
Shade for free) on turn one, I could usually take an objective on turn two
or three.

A slower start was HARD to recover from, and combat was something I really
wanted to avoid.

Couple questions that came up in play.

1. Can Riggers/Shamans swap Drones/Spirits like other gear?
2. How about swapping spells between mages?

There better had been - the deck as posted was only 52 cards :)

Riggers, definitely. Everyone seems to cower an cringe when it comes to
magic, but look at it this way: in the RPG, you *can* tell an Elemental
to obey someone else. And there are (iirc) 'control' battles (as
opposed to banishings), although they'd be used primarily with hostile
mages.

It's Gear. Gear can be traded. Cyberware's the only exception made.
Erg, Spells can be traded.

No, it doesn't follow the RPG strictly. It doesn't hafta. :) Within
the bounds of the card-game, I don't see that it breaks any rules at
all; you're giving one resource from one Runner to another, at a slight
loss (the time it takes to turn both and trade).

No need to apologize. At least to me, it gave me the chance to find the
ShadowRN mailing list address and hopefully suscribe properly.
Is your conversation on Vampires and the virus private or would you be
willing for a few more thoughts on it.
I wiould also like to see your conversion of the VI. I do have Rifts and
would like to see how the VI comes across.

Thanx for the time,
Craig
