the corp war set is pushed back to sometime in the new year FEB-MAR. the
promos havent even gone to print, and the 2nd run isnt printed or set for the
street till after corp war hits. all of this has to do with money. fasa
doesnt have it to put in to the game at this time, they(fasa) are treating the
CCG like a RPG thinkin that the game can survive on the back burner ,while
fasa has a cash flow on many of its RPGs do to the CCG it has on the market.
the ccg is hot, shadowrun ccg put fasa back in the spotlight*, they owe the
ccg another shot before it sinks.

note* rpg have been on the up swing for the past few years, do to the sales
of ccgs
from mags like inquest, scry, duelist the rpg and other games in general have
gain for this we owe R.Garfield thanx.(not a patenton the way I hold the cards
in my hand)
and the many others that have done a great job in bring back the rpg. but I
say again give the ccg it due, not magic but the ccg. if there was nothing but
magic on the market who thinks it would still be around? how long would it
last?

I still have more to say ,....I just dont want to bore you all

Feb-Mar? Yikes. Hope you're wrong, bud, no offense. They're gonna
kill themselves if they keep up delays like this.

But anyways, I'm just gonna toss something in here: I play cuz I like
to play. If the card game dies out and goes out of print, that's
terrible, but I'll still play with the cards I got. I mean, hell, I
just got into Rage, and that's been out of print for how long? We just
play with Pat's cards. Granted, I'd really like to go out there and buy
a few packs of Rage, but even though I can't, that won't stop me from
enjoying the game.

I aggree. I think FASA is making the mistake of treating the CCG like a RPG.
It's going to die hard unless they promote it and get something out this
year. Of course, I'll still buy CW whenever it comes out, but I'm a die hard
fan.
Alot of younger people play CCG's and have a much shorter attention span.

Along these same lines, why were release dates set and then decided to
be pushed back. It's definitely not good buisness to set release dates
and not only not keep them, but release 6 months later. I would just
like to know what's going on and why these rumored decisions have been
made, if they have actually been made.

Yeah, I think it'll die hard too.
