Three words "Just a Rumor". Most likely the run will be over but
there are cards that let you bypass challenges. I popped the card
text here for those who do not have it.

Name: Just a Rumor
Type: Special (Stinger)
Cost: 4
Type: Play during a shadowrun on a target Challenge that has just been
revealed. Roll D6. On 3+, trash target Challenge. May be played
once per Challenge stack on the Objective.

I have noticed that alot of people have trouble with indirect fire.
let me use this example from a Shadowrun RPG setting.

Ok Lord Torgo, Turbo, Red line, Stomper and two others are going to a
meet with a rival gang in a park at midnight. Lord Torgo does not
want to be with out a ace in the hole so he tells Turbo to sit on the
fourth floor of a nearby building and be ready to fire when he gives
the signal (Sniper's Roost). Turbo is not in the park so his attack
is considered indirect fire. So if Turbo suddenly has to use the
bathroom due to GAQS he is not in the window ready for Lord Torgo's
signal to shoot, and his attack value can not be added.

So in answer to the question. The rule book states that "Indirect
fire allows a Runner to use a weapon to assist a shadowrun without
leaving the safehouse." (p38) and "Designate up to six unturned
Runners as your shadowrunning team (or Runner team)." (p56) I have
say that per the example above Turbo is part of the "Run" so he counts
towards the six runners max. Turbo is not sitting back at his doss
and shooting at a target two miles away.

Also, if you happen to loose a runner on the run then you can not add
another runner through any means, except Red Widow. This is what
makes Red Widow cool, and I am sure that Red Widow could join the run
using indirect fire.

IMHO I think that indirect fire should be banned from being used in
indoor challenges.

As in alot of these questions that come up, try to reference them to
Shadowrun RPG if you play it. The guys who made this card game live
Shaodwrun so I think that alot of stuff was left out of the rules
because it was just common "Shadowrun" sense to them. I find it hard
sometimes in the RPG from the point of view of a new player.
Especially when they make a Mage with only high drain spells, taking
more low drain spells then high drain spells is just common sense to
me.

I would have to say that Red Widow can only be used to bring your team
back up to the size max. I would like to see a offical response on
this but I will play it this way until then.

Whooo... kinda long sorry :^)
