Here it is ! I've got the HATE !
I have bought yesterday five boosters of SRCCG and I found on them TWO
series of three cards in two different boosters.
The first serie is:
Bolt of Power, Browse and D-DAY
The second is:
Dante, Astral sense and Booby trap.
The last time I found ONE serie on five boosters. Now it's TWO series
on five boosters.
I don't know if FASA is responsible or not but anyway, I WILL NO MORE
BUY ANY SR BOOSTER !

FASA has gone into great detail about what happened to the card
collation. They say it will be fixed for the expansion and subsequent
releases. Meanwhile, the starters tend to have a better mix, so you
should get them instead. Buy boosters when the next printing comes out.

I agree that the sorting is really bad - esp for commons. However, the
uncommons are a little better, and the rares show ok sorting, esp in the
boosters. I hate to say it, but - it's only commons. It's annoying, but
after you have bought about half a box of decks, or maybe as much as a box
of boosters (a pretty minimal investment for the game over the course of a
month or so), then you will have more than enough each common (barring
objectives) so that it won'y be an issue. I hate to say throw money it it,
but buy half a box of decks, and sure you will have 30 of some commons and
only 6 of others, but that still is enough to play with....

P.S. Having worked in the printing industry, I can safley say that the odds
are it was not FASA's fault. The only fault FASA might have is that they
didn't check out the printer throughly enough. But you can easily see a
printer doing ok for the sample for FASA, and then cutting corners on the
big print run - which leads to sorting issues like that. We can want FASA
to fix it, but I say we all gang up on the printer......

One of the things Jim and i discussed about avoid the booster coalation
problem was to buy the boosters from multiple boxes, rather than buying all
from one box. And the suggestion to buy starters for now is valid too. See if
your store has a couple booster boxes open and buy from both.

Actually, no. When I started I bought one starter and a box of boosters
and was missing about 20 commons by the end of my packet-opening
session. Now, I have bought (in total) - 1 box of boosters, 2 starters,
and 34 boosters separately, and there's still a common I'm missing, I
think. :)

your "plain old, run-of-the-mill" rares!! <EG!!>
