I'll treat this one seriously..

Here in America, you can usually buy a bunch (c. 100) glass beads, often
in All for a Dollar or craft stores, at a very low price. These are
usually flat on one side, round on the other, and can be 'turtled' on
their backs to show they're turned. I've found coins make very good
experience (heads - unturned, etc), as well as some old Shadowrun
miniatures I still have somewhere. Someone else mentioned dice (1 -
unturned, 6 - turned), too.

I'm not *too* fond of tokens in ccgs (although I do like Thrulls and
Shuten Doji...) Generally, they're too easy to knock around, and it can
be pretty difficult keeping track of things once you have four or five
token sources in play. Hence why I keep track of Rep and Nuyen on
paper.
