From an outsider's point of view (don't play the game), there seems to be
too many tokens for play. Clone tokens, damage tokens, stat tokens, virus
tokens, and now the possibility to use tokens for card affects like Sudden
Goblinization... why not just skip the cardboard cards and play token games?

Perhaps the next version, second printing, will remove the Leader aspect to
Lord Torgo, along with maybe removing the 'Rat' aspect from Scatter. I
think it is a bit awkward that a 'rat shaman' could be other totems...
Speaking of the next edition, I was reading a magazine called "Gamer",
dated Jan/Feb of 1998, that has an article about the card game (more the
rpg into the card game). "A second printing of the card game, due out as
you read this, swaps out 39 cards (mostly commons and uncommons) with new
replacements and changes art of 12 more." Therefore, is the next printing
only 51 new cards while the rest will be duplicates of old? Does anyone
have any inside info on the matter? Would not be that great if you want
the 'new' cards, you are stuck getting old ones too (but you'll get a new
copyright).
Bah - called 7 stores around the area. Of those, 3 are closing/closed (for
good), 3 are sold out, and the last have a few packs left. But no one
sells in bulk *grumble*.
What a fraggin' town...
