I have a question about trading cards. I am getting ready to post my
want list on the listing and my trade list. My question is trading
etiquette. I am assuming a rare for a rare is a fair trade. but what
about rare for an uncommon card or even a common card. What about
if a person wants to buy a card. What is a fair asking price?

So far, in trades I've done it's been Rare for Rare, and 3 or 4
Uncommons for a Rare. Commons haven't come into it as much, but I'd
say about 6 to 8 per Rare, depending.

So something like:
1 Rare = 3 Uncommons = 6 Commons
-or-
1 Rare = 4 Uncommons = 8 Commons

Whichever seems fair in the trade you're doing (i.e. - An Uncommon
like Chomps or a Fireball may be worth more than an Uncommon you have
a fistfull of already).

If both people are happy with a rare-for-uncommon trade there shouldn't
be any problem; wrt buying cards I'd wait until the nextr Scrye is out
since that *should* have a price list, though probably not yet an
accurate one.
