Howdy all. The other night we had two lone star related questions come up.

1) If player B's runner is in my Lone Star Lockup (LSL), can Player B GAQ
that runner to return him/her to the safehouse? We ruled no (in the spirit
of the game), but any ideas?

2) If I put Lone Star Surveillance on a runner, and that runner ends up in
my LSL, does the Lone Star Surveillance stay on the runner, or does it "go
away"? We ruled that it "went away", again, in the spirit of the game.

Thoughts?

No. Runners in LSL have only two ways out... someone comes and gets
them or LSL gets blown up and they get trashed.

I was under the impression (Don't have the card right now) that LSS
targeted locations... not individual runners. In either case I would
rule that LSS stays in play until whatever it was targeting gets trashed
or fragged.

Both the responses were: "No" for 1) and "It goes away" for 2). I
agree,
but WHY? (Other than "spirit of the game"?). Any reasons based on the
Rule-Book-Thingy or FAQ? BTW, I don't have the card in front of me either,
but there is a Lone Star card you play on runners...on the owners turn they
roll and if they get a 6 the runner is "arrested" (modifiers of course for
visiting locations or running).

I believe the card is called Long Arm of the Law (LAotL).
