Hi again,

Here comes my second barrage of newbie questions :-)

1) Gear/Armour Vest: Say I have a 6/6 runner with the "Lined Coat"
gear/armour card. Now I send this runner into combat and he takes 4 DMG,
does my armour automatically take 1 dmg off, even if I may not want it
to? And if not, would I still have to roll to see if the "Lined Coat" is
discarded?

2) Recon: When using any card's ability to RECON a stack of challenges,
do you have to RECON the top card in the stack first? Or can you choose
the order of cards that you RECON in a stack? ie: look at the middle
challenge and so on....

3)Timing Issues: At what point is DMG actually given to a runner? Let's
say I have a runner team consisting of 2 "Static Whiz Kids 0/1" <hehe>
and they attempt a shadowrun, after revealing the first challenge which
would be in this case say a "Sentry Drone 6/7"..... Could I play 2
"Quick Apple Footsteps" and send my runners home with no DMG? Is this
legal? It does not really seem fair...

4) Gear/Spells/Programs: Man oh Man, I have a real problem with this
area. The rule book is quite specific saying that SPELLS and PROGRAMS
are used in phase 4, yet the FAQ on FASA's website has to muck that up
and say that deckers and mages can use SPELLS/PROGRAMS on other people's
turns. So does that mean that they are to be treated as Stingers or
"Instants" <from MagicTG>, that you can use them WHENEVER you choose to?

5) Media Chick: Can I use my Media Chick card to bet on SOMEONE ELSE's
Shadowrun? If so, I have found a use for the Elven Hitman :-)

Well, this is latest installment of newbie questions and I am about to
crawl into to bed, thx for reading this far :-)
